Zilciyan at\u00f6lyelerinde \u00fcretilen zillerden ince olanlar keskin, y\u00fcksek tonlu, h\u0131zl\u0131 k\u0131r\u0131lma sesi verir, orta kal\u0131nl\u0131kta olanlar\u0131n zengin, keskin tonlar\u0131 ritmik m\u00fczikte \u00e7ok aran\u0131r, a\u011f\u0131r olanlar ise uzun s\u00fcren parlak bir ses \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131rlard\u0131. Bu \u00f6zel zillerin m\u00fcdavimleri aras\u0131nda Beatles, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple ve Pink Floyd gibi pek \u00e7ok rock grubunun davulcular\u0131 ile bir\u00e7ok \u00fcnl\u00fc cazc\u0131 bulunuyor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yetimhanede do\u011fan y\u0131ld\u0131z<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">S\u00f6zl\u00fc tarihe g\u00f6re, Zilciyan Ailesi\u2019nin bilinen ilk \u00fcyesi Kerope, 1600\u2019lerin ba\u015f\u0131nda Samatya\u2019daki Surp Kevork Kilisesi\u2019nin yetimhanesinde yeti\u015fmi\u015f ve hayat\u0131n\u0131 kilise \u00e7anlar\u0131 yaparak kazanmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f. Ermeni kaynaklar\u0131 Kerope\u2019nin zilcili\u011fe 1623\u2019te ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kaydediyor. \u0130lk at\u00f6lyesi de bug\u00fcn Samatya\u2019da A\u011fahamam M\u00fc\u015fir S\u00fcleyman Pa\u015fa\u2019daki 45 numaral\u0131 d\u00fckk\u00e2n\u0131n oldu\u011fu yerdeymi\u015f.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Kerope\u2019ye bu i\u015fi Kayserili bir bak\u0131rc\u0131 ustas\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretti diyen kaynaklar da var, Trabzon\u2019a gelen bir \u00c7inli \u00f6\u011fretti diyen de. Ancak biliyoruz ki, Osmanl\u0131lar\u0131n \u00f6nc\u00fclleri olan Sel\u00e7uklularda mehter tak\u0131m\u0131, bu tak\u0131mlarda da zil kullan\u0131l\u0131yordu. Sel\u00e7uklular\u0131n zili Orta Asya\u2019dan getirdikleri d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclebilir \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc 11. Y\u00fczy\u0131l yazar\u0131 Ka\u015fgarl\u0131 Mahmud\u2019un Divan-\u0131 L\u00fcgat\u2019it T\u00fcrk adl\u0131 eserinde zilden s\u00f6z ediliyor. T\u00fcrkler de bunu \u00c7inlilerden alm\u0131\u015f olabilir. \u00c7inliler kimden alm\u0131\u015f bilinmez ama e\u011fer Anadolu\u2019da \u00f6\u011frendilerse \u015fa\u015f\u0131rmayal\u0131m, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc antik d\u00f6nemden kalma kabartma ve resimlerden \u00f6\u011frendi\u011fimize g\u00f6re Yunanl\u0131lar zili tan\u0131yorlard\u0131. Anadolu da bir Yunan yurdu idi. Yani zilcili\u011fin tarihi Kerope\u2019den \u00f6nceye gidiyor ama Kerope\u2019nin bu i\u015fe kendinden \u00e7ok \u015fey katt\u0131\u011f\u0131 anla\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>As\u0131rlard\u0131r gizli\u00a0 form\u00fcl<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Kerope\u2019nin o\u011flu Avedis (I) ise bir ad\u0131m daha ileri gitmi\u015f ve \u00f6zel bir ala\u015f\u0131m bulmu\u015ftu. Bug\u00fcne dek s\u0131r olarak kalan bu form\u00fcle g\u00f6re yap\u0131lan ziller Osmanl\u0131 d\u00f6neminde mehter tak\u0131m\u0131nda yer alan davul, k\u00f6s (dev davul),\u00a0 nakkare (k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck davul, kud\u00fcm de denir), nefir (boru) ve zurna gibi enstr\u00fcmanlara e\u015flik eder olmu\u015ftu. B\u00fcy\u00fck ve k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck (tasavvuf m\u00fczi\u011finde kullan\u0131lan k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck zillere halile deniyor) iki tipleri olan ziller mehter tak\u0131m\u0131nda en arkada bulunurmu\u015f ama yeri geldi\u011finde d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131 y\u0131ld\u0131ran bir ses \u00e7\u0131karmakta da \u00fcst\u00fcne yokmu\u015f. 1680?lerin sonuna do\u011fru Mozart ile Haydn gibi \u00fcnl\u00fc besteciler eserlerinde zile yer vermeye ba\u015flay\u0131nca Zilciyan Ailesi\u2019nin \u00fcretti\u011fi ziller Avrupa\u2019n\u0131n g\u00f6zdesi olmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Osmanl\u0131\u2019n\u0131n modernle\u015fmeci padi\u015fahlar\u0131ndan II. Mahmud (1808-1839) Yeni\u00e7eri Oca\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131 kald\u0131r\u0131rken, ocakla \u00f6zde\u015fleyen Mehter Tak\u0131m\u0131\u2019n\u0131 da kald\u0131rm\u0131\u015f ve yerine Bat\u0131 tarz\u0131 bir \u2018Askeri Bando\u2019 kurmu\u015ftu. Anadolu\u2019da ise bando nadir bir \u015feydi. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla bu d\u00f6nemde zil yap\u0131m\u0131 durma noktas\u0131na geldi. Yine de Zilciyan Ailesi\u2019nin \u00fc\u00e7 \u00fcyesinin (Hoca Artin, Kerope II ve Karabet) zil yap\u0131m\u0131na devam etti\u011fi san\u0131l\u0131yor. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc Avedis Zilciyan adl\u0131 aile \u00fcyesi (kaynaklarda a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131k yok ama bu ki\u015finin Hoca Artin\u2019in o\u011flu olmas\u0131 muhtemel) 1851\u2019de Londra\u2019da a\u00e7\u0131lan D\u00fcnya Ticaret Fuar\u0131\u2019na kat\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve zilleri burada \u00f6d\u00fcl alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Yeni D\u00fcnya\u2019ya g\u00f6\u00e7 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Avedis 1865\u2019te \u00f6l\u00fcnce i\u015fi karde\u015fi Kerope II devrald\u0131. Kerope II ve a\u011fabeyi Hoca Artin yang\u0131nlarda hayatlar\u0131n\u0131 kaybedince \u00e7ocuklar\u0131 hen\u00fcz k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck oldu\u011fundan aile mesle\u011fini karde\u015fleri Karabet devam ettirdi. Zilciyan zilleri d\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00f6rt bir yan\u0131nda tan\u0131nmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Karabet\u2019in \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden sonra da Kerope II\u2019nin art\u0131k b\u00fcy\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f olan o\u011fullar\u0131 Diran ve Levon efsanevi zillerin yap\u0131m\u0131 i\u015fini T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fcklerini g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Diran 1921\u2019de \u00f6l\u00fcnce Levon yaln\u0131z kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131 \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc kendi o\u011flu Mikael hen\u00fcz 15 ya\u015f\u0131ndayd\u0131,\u00a0 Diran\u2019\u0131n da o\u011flu yoktu.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a01927\u2019de i\u015fi kuzenleri Aram (emin de\u011filim ama Karabet\u2019in o\u011flu olabilir) devrald\u0131. \u00c7ocu\u011fu olmayan Aram o y\u0131llarda ABD\u2019de ya\u015fayan ye\u011feni Avedis\u2019e (Avedis II\u2019nin o\u011flu oldu\u011fundan kendisini Avedis III olarak anabiliriz) bir mektup yazd\u0131 ve T\u00fcrkiye\u2019ye \u00e7a\u011f\u0131rd\u0131. Ancak tersi oldu, Avedis III kendisini ikna etti ve Aram ABD\u2019ye g\u00f6\u00e7 etti. Ancak Samatya\u2019da, A\u011fahamam \u0130nek\u00e7i Sokak\u2019taki at\u00f6lyede art\u0131k i\u015fin ba\u015f\u0131na ge\u00e7ecek ya\u015fa gelmi\u015f olan Mikael, Kerope I\u2019in ke\u015ffetti\u011fi ala\u015f\u0131mla imalata devam etti. ABD\u2019deki imalathanenin ba\u015f\u0131nda ise Avedis III\u2019\u00fcn o\u011fullar\u0131ndan Arman vard\u0131.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nerede o Eski K\u2019lar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">1965\u2019te A\u011fahamam\u2019daki at\u00f6lye kom\u015fular\u0131n imalathane sesinden \u015fik\u00e2yet etmeleri \u00fczerine Bayrampa\u015fa, Sa\u011fmalc\u0131lar\u2019a ta\u015f\u0131nd\u0131. Mikael Zilciyan 1977\u2019ye kadar burada \u00fcretime devam etti. Ailenin ABD\u2019deki kolu taraf\u0131ndan d\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00f6rt bir yan\u0131na sat\u0131lan bu zillere ailenin kurucusu I. Kerope\u2019nin ad\u0131na izafeten \u201cK Zilciyan\u201d damgas\u0131 vuruluyordu. Ama 1977\u2019de ABD\u2019deki Avedis\u2019ten Mikael\u2019e bir mektup geldi. Mektupta \u201csenin yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131n ziller Amerika\u2019da be\u011fenilmiyor. Art\u0131k bana zil g\u00f6nderme\u201d yaz\u0131yordu. Ger\u00e7ekten de d\u00fcnyan\u0131n \u00fcnl\u00fc davulcular\u0131, 1977 \u00f6ncesindeki zilleri \u2018Eski K\u2019 olarak adland\u0131r\u0131p onlar\u0131n kalitesinde zilin hen\u00fcz \u00fcretilmedi\u011fini s\u00f6ylerler.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">ABD\u2019ye ihracat durunca Mikael\u2019in i\u015fleri bozulmu\u015f, at\u00f6lyeyi kapatt\u0131ktan bir y\u0131l sonra da (1978\u2019de) vefat etmi\u015fti. A\u011fahamam\u2019daki at\u00f6lyede kalfal\u0131k yapan Mehmet Tamde\u011fer ile Agop ve Oksant Tomurcuk karde\u015fler bir s\u00fcre ba\u015fka i\u015flerde ekmeklerini \u00e7\u0131karmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rlarsa da, sonunda bir ortakl\u0131k kurarak Zilciyan Ailesi\u2019nden \u00f6\u011frendiklerini uygulamaya devam ettiler. (Y\u0131llar sonra bir gazeteciye a\u00e7\u0131klad\u0131klar\u0131na g\u00f6re iki kafadar, bir g\u00fcn \u00e7at\u0131ya saklan\u0131p Mikael Zilciyan\u2019\u0131n \u00f6zel ala\u015f\u0131m\u0131 nas\u0131l haz\u0131rlad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 izlemi\u015fler ve form\u00fcl\u00fc \u00f6\u011frenmi\u015fler.) Kurduklar\u0131 firman\u0131n ad\u0131 \u2018\u0130stanbul Zilciler\u2019 idi. Agop Tomurcuk\u2019un 1996\u2019da K\u0131nal\u0131ada\u2019ya giderken teknesinde \u00e7\u0131kan yang\u0131nda \u00f6lmesinden sonra firma ikiye b\u00f6l\u00fcnd\u00fc. Mehmet Bey\u2019in firmas\u0131 \u2018\u0130stanbul Mehmet\u2019 ve Agop Bey\u2019in o\u011fullar\u0131 Arman ve Serkis\u2019in \u015firketi \u2018\u0130stanbul Agop\u2019 ad\u0131n\u0131 ald\u0131. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l Agop Bey\u2019in yan\u0131nda i\u015fi \u00f6\u011frenen \u00fc\u00e7 T\u00fcrk usta \u2018Turkish Zil\u2019 ad\u0131yla bir firma kurarak Zilciyan gelene\u011fini (bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131na g\u00f6re) par\u00e7alad\u0131lar veya \u00e7o\u011faltt\u0131lar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Antik \u00e7a\u011fdan miras: Samatya<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Grek\u00e7ede ad\u0131 \u201ckumluk yer\u201d anlam\u0131na gelen Psamatia\u2019n\u0131n eski bir yerle\u015fim yeri oldu\u011fu biliniyordu ancak \u015fimdiki bulgulara g\u00f6re, antik \u015fehir Bizantion\u2019un kurucusu Megaral\u0131 Byzas, geldi\u011finde burada bir k\u00f6y varm\u0131\u015f. Ne yaz\u0131k ki bug\u00fcn bu eski k\u00f6yden bir kal\u0131nt\u0131 yok. Bizans d\u00f6neminde ise Konstantinopolis bat\u0131ya do\u011fru b\u00fcy\u00fcrken, Psamatia surlar\u0131n i\u00e7inde kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131 ama yine n\u00fcfusu seyrek bir b\u00f6lgeydi. Sadece baz\u0131 kiliseler ve manast\u0131rlar vard\u0131. Bunlardan Studios Manast\u0131r\u0131 b\u00f6lgenin en \u00f6n\u00fcmle dini merkeziydi.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Samatya, fetihten sonra y\u00fczy\u0131llar boyunca H\u0131ristiyan kimli\u011fini korumu\u015ftu. Ama \u00f6rne\u011fin Tarihi 5. Y\u00fczy\u0131la kadar giden Studios Manast\u0131r\u0131\u2019ndan geriye kalan \u0130oannes Prodromos Kilisesi, \u0130mrahor \u0130lyas Bey Camii\u2019ne\u00e7evrilmi\u015fti. (Cami, 1894 depreminde y\u0131k\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra bir daha onar\u0131lmad\u0131. \u0130stanbul\u2019daki en eski kilise kal\u0131nt\u0131s\u0131 olarak ilgi bekliyor.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Ermeni Patrikli\u011fi\u2019nin kurulmas\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Bizans\u2019\u0131n miras\u0131 olan Ermeni n\u00fcfus, Karaman Ermenilerinin ve Bursa Ermenilerinin bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fcn dini liderleri (marhasa) Episkopos Hovagim\u2019le birlikte ba\u015fkente getirip Samatya\u2019ya yerle\u015ftirmesi ve 1461\u2019de Ermeni Patrikhanesi\u2019nin kurulmas\u0131yla artt\u0131. I. Selim (Yavuz) d\u00f6neminde (1512-1520) Tebriz, Erzurum, Mu\u015f, Kemah, Sivas ve Erzincan\u2019dan; III. Murad d\u00f6neminde (1574-1595) Nahc\u0131van ve Tebriz\u2019den getirilen Ermeniler Samatya, Yenikap\u0131 ve Kumkap\u0131\u2019ya iskan edildiler ve gayrim\u00fcslim oran\u0131 biraz daha artt\u0131.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Bunlar olurken Samatya\u2019daki Rum kiliselerinin bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc Ermenilere tahsis edildi. Bu\u00a0 yap\u0131lar ufak tefek de\u011fi\u015fikliklerle Ermeni kilisesi haline getirildi. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde Sulu Manast\u0131r diye bilinen Surp Kevork Kilisesi de Maria Peripleptos ad\u0131na in\u015fa edilmi\u015f eski bir Rum kilisesi idi. Sulu Manast\u0131r denmesinin nedeni de bir merdivenle inilen ayazmas\u0131. (Bilindi\u011fi gibi H\u0131ristiyan k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcnde iyile\u015ftirici \u00f6zelli\u011fi oldu\u011funa inan\u0131lan sulara ayazma deniliyor.)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deli \u0130brahim\u2019in hediyesi mi?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Bu kilisenin Ermenilere ne zaman verildi\u011fi meselesi biraz kar\u0131\u015f\u0131k. 1600\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda \u0130stanbul\u2019a gelen Polonyal\u0131 Simeon\u2019un kitab\u0131nda,\u00a0 Surp Kevork\u2019tan Ermeni Patrikhanesi\u2019nin Kilisesi diye bahsedilirken, s\u00f6zl\u00fc tarihte kilisenin Ermenilere \u2018Deli\u2019 lakab\u0131yla tarihe ge\u00e7en I. \u0130brahim d\u00f6neminde (1615-1648) verildi\u011fi s\u00f6yleniyor. Rivayete g\u00f6re cinselli\u011fe merak\u0131yla tan\u0131nan padi\u015fah \u201c\u00e7ok \u015fi\u015fman kad\u0131n isterim\u201d diye tutturdu\u011funda kendisine sunulan kad\u0131nlar aras\u0131nda bir Ermeni kad\u0131n\u0131na vurulmu\u015f.\u00a0 \u2018\u015eekerpare\u2019 lakab\u0131n\u0131 takt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu kad\u0131n\u0131n marifetiyle de Rum kilisesini Ermenilere ba\u011f\u0131\u015flam\u0131\u015f. Daha kesin olan bilgi ise, Ermeni Patrikhanesi\u2019nin 1641 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar bu kilisede mukim oldu\u011fu, ayn\u0131 y\u0131l Kumkap\u0131\u2019ya, \u015fimdiki yerine ta\u015f\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mimar Sinan\u2019\u0131n eserleri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ancak b\u00f6lgede geni\u015f bir M\u00fcsl\u00fcman n\u00fcfus da ya\u015f\u0131yordu. Nitekim S\u00fcnb\u00fcl Efendi Camii (eskiden Ayios Andreas Erkekler Manast\u0131r\u0131 idi), Mirza Baba Tekkesi (eski bir Bizans yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n \u00fcst\u00fcne kurulmu\u015ftur), Sancakdar Hayrettin Mescidi ve Tekkesi, Abdi \u00c7elebi Camii ve A\u011fa Hamam\u0131 (her ikisi de Ermeni as\u0131ll\u0131 Mimar Sinan\u2019\u0131n eseridir)\u00a0 gibi \u00f6nemli yap\u0131lar halen ayakta. (Ayakta ancak son derece yanl\u0131\u015f restorasyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n kurban\u0131.)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczdeki kiliselerin b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu ise 1830\u2019lu y\u0131llarda in\u015fa edilmi\u015f. Bunlardan en \u00f6nemlileri, Servilerin Aya Yorgisi, Ayios Minas, Aya Nikola ve Aya Lipsis adl\u0131 Ortodoks Rum kiliseleri. Hakk\u0131ndaki en eski kay\u0131tlar 1563\u2019te oldu\u011fu halde \u00e7an kulesi II. Abd\u00fclhamit d\u00f6neminde (1877-1909) ana binas\u0131 ise Birinci D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda \u0130stanbul\u2019u i\u015fgal eden \u0130ngilizlerden yard\u0131m alarak yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015f.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Samatya\u2019daki gayrim\u00fcslim n\u00fcfus 1942 Varl\u0131k Vergisi facias\u0131 ve 6-7 Eyl\u00fcl 1955 ya\u011fmas\u0131ndan sonra giderek azalmaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f, buna paralel olarak semtin sosyal ve mimari yap\u0131s\u0131 h\u0131zl\u0131 bir de\u011fi\u015fime u\u011fram\u0131\u015f. Ancak, de\u011fi\u015fmeyen \u015feyler de var.
