Khotorcur toplumu \u00c7i\u00e7apat\u0131\u011f, K\u0131rman, Kisak, Micin Ta\u011f (orta mahalle), Khandadzor, Sunents, Ka\u011fm\u0131khut, Vahna, Ge\u011fut ve Yukar\u0131 Mukhurkut, A\u015fa\u011f\u0131 Mukhurkut, Gorker, Aregi, Karmirk (\u00c7oruh\u2019un sa\u011f k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda) olmak \u00fczere iki k\u00f6y grubundan meydana gelmi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00d6zerkli\u011fi, her bir k\u00f6y\u00fcn k\u00f6y reisi ve genel kurulu y\u00f6netmi\u015flerdir. Khotorcur, Osmanl\u0131 y\u00f6netimine y\u0131ll\u0131k bir defaya mahsus vergi \u00f6deyerek i\u00e7 i\u015flerine m\u00fcdahaleye \u00fcz\u00fcn vermemi\u015ftir. Khotorcur Ermenileri XVII. y\u00fczy\u0131lda Katolik mezhebine ge\u00e7mi\u015flerdir. Toplumlar\u0131na y\u00f6nelik devaml\u0131 sald\u0131r\u0131larda bulunan T\u00fcrk \u00e7etelerine kar\u015f\u0131 s\u00fcrekli m\u00fccadele i\u00e7inde bulunmu\u015flard\u0131r. Tar\u0131m, zanaatlar ve hayvanc\u0131l\u0131kla u\u011fra\u015fm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Ekilecel topraklar\u0131n k\u0131tl\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 \u00e7ok say\u0131da Khotorcurlu Erzrum (Erzurum), Trapizon (Trabzon), Kafkasya, K\u0131r\u0131m ve farkl\u0131 yerlere gurbete gitmi\u015f, genelde f\u0131r\u0131nc\u0131l\u0131kla u\u011fra\u015fm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Khotorcur\u2019un t\u00fcm k\u00f6ylerinde, yabanc\u0131 dil derslerinin (Frans\u0131zca, T\u00fcrk\u00e7e, Rus\u00e7a) verildi\u011fi okullar bulunmu\u015ftur. 1914 y\u0131l\u0131nda K\u0131rman K\u00f6y\u00fc\u2019nde k\u0131sa bir s\u00fcre i\u00e7in \u201cA\u011favni Tayots\u201d (Tayk\u2019\u0131n g\u00fcvercini) gazetesi yay\u0131nlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Khotorcur b\u00f6lgesinde Astvadzamayr (Meryemana, Yukar\u0131 Mokhurkut K\u00f6y\u00fc\u2019nde) ve Ds\u0131raracur (\u00c7orokh\/\u00c7oruh\u2019un sa\u011f k\u0131y\u0131s\u0131nda) kaleleri bulunmaktayd\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">11 haziran 1915\u2019te Khotorcur\u2019un yakla\u015f\u0131k 4 bin Ermenisi tehcire yollan\u0131p yollarda katliama u\u011frat\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u015eubat 1916\u2019da Rus ordular\u0131 Khotorcur\u2019u ele ge\u00e7irdiklerinde \u00e7ok say\u0131da Khotorcurlu evlerine geri d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. 1917 y\u0131l\u0131 sonunda Rus ordular\u0131 geri \u00e7ekildi\u011finde Osmanl\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7leri sald\u0131r\u0131ya ge\u00e7mi\u015f ve Khotorcur savunmas\u0131 ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Ermeni Ansiklopedisi, 2.
