Hask\u00f6yl\u00fc Harutyun Hovivyan (filolog) ile akrabal\u0131\u011f\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rma gerektirir. \u0130ki ger\u00e7e\u011fi biliyoruz; \u0130stanbul G\u00fczel Sanatlar Okulu\u2019nda (Mekteb-i Sanayi-i Nefise-i \u015eahane) \u00fc\u00e7 y\u0131l (1915-1918) resim e\u011fitimi ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve ard\u0131ndan Van do\u011fumlu\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Panos_Terlemezian\">Panos Terlemezyan<\/a>\u00a0(1865-1941) adl\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck Ermeni ressam\u0131n \u015eehirde bulunmas\u0131 nedeni ile yakla\u015f\u0131k bir y\u0131l \u00f6\u011frencisi oldu\u011fu (1919 \u20131920).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki sert siyasi ve sosyal ko\u015fullar, gen\u00e7 Hovivyan\u2019\u0131n sanat e\u011fitimini terk etmesine ve sonu\u00e7 olarak 1924\u2019te M\u0131s\u0131r \u0130skenderiye\u2019ye ta\u015f\u0131nmas\u0131na ve muhtemelen orada baz\u0131 akrabalar\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131na gitmesine neden oldu. \u0130skenderiye\u2019de zor hayat ko\u015fullar\u0131na g\u00f6\u011f\u00fcs gerebilmek i\u00e7in bilmedi\u011fimiz ayak i\u015flerinde \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131p, bo\u015f zamanlar\u0131nda da sanata de\u011fer vermekten hi\u00e7 vazge\u00e7medi.<\/p>\n<p>1936 y\u0131l\u0131nda hayat\u0131nda d\u00f6n\u00fcm noktas\u0131 olan bir olay oldu. Arkada\u015f\u0131 sanat\u00e7\u0131 Gregoire M\u0131g\u0131rdi\u00e7yan\u2019\u0131n (1902-1948) sahibi oldu\u011fu ve y\u00f6netti\u011fi Galerie Gregoire\u2019da d\u00fczenlenen sergilerden birinde, kendisini te\u015fvik eden ve sanat\u0131na devam etmek i\u00e7in hi\u00e7bir zaman ge\u00e7 kalmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyen\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hyetert.org\/2020\/12\/07\/asod-zor%cf%85an-1905-1970\/\">A\u015fod Zoryan<\/a>\u00a0ile tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00f6ylece, Hovivyan heyecanla resim \u00e7izmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. Aral\u0131k 1938 y\u0131l\u0131nda hayat\u0131nda ilk defa \u0130skenderiye\u2019de ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen bir sergiye kat\u0131ld\u0131. Bu Hovivyan\u2019\u0131n ressam olarak ilk b\u00fcy\u00fck ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131yd\u0131. Bu vesileyle Lucy Karama Manugyan, Arev g\u00fcnl\u00fck gazetesinde yay\u0131nlanan k\u0131sa ama \u00f6nemli bir makale yazd\u0131. Hovivyan\u2019\u0131n 80\u2019den fazla eserini sergiledi\u011fini ve hassas f\u0131r\u00e7as\u0131n\u0131n, sakin denizlerin ve Nil\u2019in y\u00fczeylerinde dalgalanan teknelerin yelkenlerinin yans\u0131malar\u0131n\u0131 temsil etmek i\u00e7in mavi, sar\u0131, mor ve alt\u0131n (sar\u0131) ton kombinasyonlar\u0131 yaratt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 yazd\u0131. Ayr\u0131ca sanat\u00e7\u0131n\u0131n Maryut G\u00f6l\u00fc\u2019n\u00fcn \u00e7evresini eskiz yapmak i\u00e7in s\u0131k s\u0131k ziyaret etti\u011fini ve sonradan tuvallerinde bu \u0131ss\u0131z yerin sakinli\u011fini ve mistik yaln\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade etti\u011fini belirtti.<\/p>\n<p>Bir sonraki sergi kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131, 1953 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n Mart ay\u0131nda bu kez \u0130skenderiye\u2019deki Dikran Yergat K\u00fclt\u00fcr Derne\u011fi\u2019nin d\u00fczenledi\u011fi Armeno-M\u0131s\u0131rl\u0131 sanat\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n karma sergisine iki eser ile oldu.<\/p>\n<p>Ancak Hovivyan\u2019\u0131n en b\u00fcy\u00fck ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131 1954\u2019te 16-25 Kas\u0131m tarihleri aras\u0131nda Kahire\u2019deki Modern Sanat M\u00fczesi\u2019nde 2. (ve son) ki\u015fisel sergisinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>Sonunda, M\u0131s\u0131r ba\u015fkentinin sanatseverleri ve sanat ele\u015ftirmenleri, onun sanat\u0131n\u0131 kapsaml\u0131 bir \u015fekilde takdir edebildiler. Yerel Ermeni gazetesi Arev 17, 19, 20 say\u0131lar\u0131 24 Kas\u0131m 1954 tarihlerinde sanat\u00e7\u0131ya kapsaml\u0131 olarak yer verdi.
