Bunun zirve noktas\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturan 1915 soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131, devletin b\u00fct\u00fcn inkar \u00e7abalar\u0131na ra\u011fmen art\u0131k d\u00fcnyaca tan\u0131nan bir ger\u00e7eklik olarak T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de de sorgulan\u0131yor. Ama \u00f6zellikle bu s\u00fcrecin son halkas\u0131 (1919\u2019dan 1923\u2019e) halen dokunulmas\u0131 daha zorlu bir tabu olarak kal\u0131yor. Nedeni a\u00e7\u0131k, \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc kanl\u0131 tasfiyeyi tamamlayan ve binlerce y\u0131ll\u0131k halklar\u0131n \u00f6z yurtlar\u0131ndaki varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131k neredeyse b\u00fct\u00fcn\u00fcyle sona erdiren \u015fey millet\u00e7e gurur duyulan \u201cKurtulu\u015f Sava\u015f\u0131\u201d olmu\u015ftur. O efsanenin kendisiyle y\u00fczle\u015fmeden b\u00fcy\u00fck tasfiyenin bu son a\u015famas\u0131n\u0131 sorgulamak ve \u00f6zellikle bu a\u015faman\u0131n kurban\u0131 olan Pontos Rumlar\u0131yla dayan\u0131\u015fmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fcnm\u00fcyor. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019yi y\u00f6neten geleneksel devlet\u00e7i, T\u00fcrk-\u0130slamc\u0131 fa\u015fist kesimler yan\u0131nda, kendini \u201csol, sosyalist, kom\u00fcnist, devrimci, demokrat, liberal\u201d sayan muhaliflerin \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc de bug\u00fcnlere kadar Kemalizmi savunma ve kay\u0131rma durumunda oldu\u011fundan, M. Kemal\u2019in \u00f6nc\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclen soyk\u0131r\u0131m ve insanl\u0131k su\u00e7lar\u0131 daha \u00f6ncesine g\u00f6re daha az sorgulanabilir oluyor.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Soyk\u0131r\u0131mc\u0131 gelenek ve uygulamalar\u0131n oradan Cumhuriyet tarihine ta\u015f\u0131nm\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131 da ayr\u0131 bir olgu. Kurulu\u015f s\u00fcrecinde Pontos\u2019u hedefleyen M. Kemal\u2019in, \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcne yak\u0131n da Dersim\u2019i hedefledi\u011fi, her iki soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n bir numaral\u0131 sorumlusu oldu\u011fu biliniyor. Ne var ki, Kemalizme cepheden kar\u015f\u0131tl\u0131k g\u00f6sterebilen m\u00fcstesna k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck \u00e7evreler d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda kimseler bu ger\u00e7ekli\u011fi de sorun etmiyor. Yeni devletin kurulu\u015fundan sonra asimilasyona kar\u015f\u0131 durdu\u011fu i\u00e7in hedef haline gelen K\u00fcrtler de o kurulu\u015f s\u00fcrecine dokunmak istemiyor. Bar\u0131\u015f\u00e7\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm aray\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n b\u00fcsb\u00fct\u00fcn t\u0131kand\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde HDP\u2019nin s\u00f6zc\u00fcleri meclisteki muhataplar\u0131na o s\u00fcrecin ve ilk meclisin hayali erdemlerini anlat\u0131yor. Hal b\u00f6yle olunca, 1919-23 aras\u0131 d\u00f6nem daha \u00f6ncesine g\u00f6re oldu\u011fu gibi, daha sonras\u0131na g\u00f6re de imtiyazl\u0131 ve kurulu\u015f miti nedeniyle tart\u0131\u015f\u0131lmaz durumdad\u0131r. Onun dokunulmazl\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fck\u00e7e, ba\u015fka s\u00fcre\u00e7ler daha fazla ele\u015ftirilebilir olsa bile T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de tarihle y\u00fczle\u015fmenin hakk\u0131yla yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan s\u00f6z edilemez.<\/p>\n<p>Hristiyan halklar\u0131n tasfiyesi, Osmanl\u0131 \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu\u2019nun toprak kay\u0131plar\u0131n\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc a\u015famada M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanl\u0131k ve T\u00fcrkl\u00fck i\u00e7in K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Asya\u2019y\u0131 tahkim etme d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesiyle geli\u015fen bir y\u00f6nelimdi. Zihinsel plandan fiiliyata ge\u00e7i\u015fi \u00fclkenin do\u011fu b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde \u00f6zerklik kazanma ihtimali g\u00f6r\u00fclen Ermenilere kar\u015f\u0131 start alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. 19. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n son \u00e7eyre\u011finde g\u00fcndeme gelen Ermeni halk\u0131n\u0131n ulusal-demokratik talepleri Sultan Abd\u00fclhamit taraf\u0131ndan zul\u00fcm siyasetiyle kar\u015f\u0131lanm\u0131\u015f, yayg\u0131n pogromlar\u0131n d\u00fczenlendi\u011fi 1894-96 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda yakla\u015f\u0131k 300 bin Ermeni katledilip bir o kadar\u0131 da M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanla\u015ft\u0131rma ve g\u00f6\u00e7 ettirmeyle eritilmi\u015fti. Toptan imhan\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclemeyece\u011fi ya da fiilen m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmayaca\u011f\u0131 o a\u015famada bu k\u0131smi imhayla g\u00fcd\u00fclen ama\u00e7, n\u00fcfus yo\u011funlu\u011funun bulundu\u011fu yerlerde Ermenileri azaltmak, zay\u0131f d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrmek ve reform planlar\u0131n\u0131 sabote etmek oluyordu.<\/p>\n<p>Abd\u00fclhamit\u2019in istibdad rejimine kar\u015f\u0131 \u201cH\u00fcrriyet, adalet, m\u00fcsavat\u201d \u015fiar\u0131yla Ermeni ve Rumlar\u0131n deste\u011fini alarak iktidara gelen ve fakat T\u00fcrk-\u0130slam \u015fovenizmini yeni bir \u00fcslupla (Pan-\u0130slamizm\u2019den Pan-T\u00fcrkizm\u2019e do\u011fru evrilen bi\u00e7imde) s\u00fcrd\u00fcren J\u00f6n-T\u00fcrklerin \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131 kanad\u0131, \u00e7ok ge\u00e7meden ger\u00e7ek y\u00fcz\u00fcn\u00fc g\u00f6sterecek olan 1909 Adana katliam\u0131n\u0131 tertiplemi\u015f, 1911-12\u2019de Rumlara ve Ermenilere kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7ok yerde ticaret boykotu kampanyalar\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fctm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. Ard\u0131ndan Balkan sava\u015f\u0131ndaki yenilginin \u015fokuyla geride kalan topraklar\u0131 Hristiyan halklardan temizlemek i\u00e7in g\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fc karartan \u0130ttihat ve Terakki y\u00f6netimi 1913-1914 y\u0131llar\u0131nda K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Asya\u2019n\u0131n bat\u0131 b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde ve Do\u011fu Trakya\u2019da Rumlara y\u00f6nelik \u00e7ete sald\u0131r\u0131lar\u0131 d\u00fczenliyor ve yer yer katliamlarla y\u00fczbinlerin ka\u00e7\u0131p g\u00f6\u00e7mesini sa\u011fl\u0131yordu. Bilahare sava\u015f ortam\u0131n\u0131n sundu\u011fu c\u00fcretkarl\u0131kla s\u0131n\u0131rs\u0131z geni\u015flikte uygulanacak olan tehcir, daha bu y\u0131llarda Rumlar ve Ermeniler i\u00e7in genel olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen bir \u015feydi.<\/p>\n<p>Nihayet Ermeni sorununda m\u00fcdahil devletlerin dayatt\u0131\u011f\u0131 reform plan\u0131n\u0131 kabul etmeye mecbur kald\u0131ktan sonra, ayn\u0131 y\u0131l ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan d\u00fcnya sava\u015f\u0131n\u0131 f\u0131rsat bilerek, hem bu y\u00fck\u00fcml\u00fcl\u00fckten kurtulma ve K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Asya\u2019y\u0131 homojen hale getirme, hem de m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olursa do\u011fuya do\u011fru yay\u0131l\u0131p b\u00fcy\u00fck Turan imparatorlu\u011funu kurma amac\u0131yla Almanya\u2019n\u0131n yan\u0131nda hararetli \u015fekilde d\u00fcnya sava\u015f\u0131na dalan \u0130ttihat ve Terakki \u015fefleri, 1915 ve onu izleyen y\u0131llar zarf\u0131nda yakla\u015f\u0131k 1,5 milyon Ermeni yan\u0131nda 300 binden fazla Asuri-Kildani-S\u00fcryani ve 200 bin kadar da Rum\u2019un kurban edildi\u011fi b\u00fcy\u00fck bir soyk\u0131r\u0131m organize etti. Bu d\u00f6nem devletin \u00f6nde gelen hedefi, kesin bir son vermek istedi\u011fi Ermeni sorunu nedeniyle Ermeni halk\u0131 ve Turan hayaline ula\u015fmak i\u00e7in yol temizli\u011fi kapsam\u0131nda \u00f6nceki y\u0131l Urmiye taraf\u0131nda k\u0131rmaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131, sonra da Suriye s\u00fcrg\u00fcnlerinin yolu \u00fczerinde eli de\u011fmi\u015fken tamam\u0131n\u0131 halletmekte yarar g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc Asuriler oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in, Rumlar\u0131n a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131kl\u0131 n\u00fcfusuyla ba\u015f etmek daha sonraya kalacakt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>1915 Soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131 denince \u00e7o\u011fu zaman yaln\u0131zca Ermenilerin, bazen de onunla beraber Asurilerin yok edili\u015fi hat\u0131rlan\u0131rken, Rumlar pek hat\u0131rlanm\u0131yor. Bu eksikli\u011fi g\u00f6r\u00fcp gidermek ve d\u00f6nemin kurbanlar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Rumlar\u0131 da anmak gerekir. O b\u00fcy\u00fck imha 1915 y\u0131l\u0131yla s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 olmay\u0131p s\u00fcrg\u00fcnlerin Suriye kamplar\u0131nda eritildi\u011fi 1916 ve sonras\u0131n\u0131 da kaps\u0131yordu. Do\u011fu Pontos\u2019un Ruslar\u0131n eline ge\u00e7mesi ard\u0131ndan 1916-17 k\u0131\u015f\u0131nda giri\u015filen Bat\u0131 Pontoslu Rumlar\u0131n k\u0131smi tehcir ve k\u0131r\u0131m\u0131 da bu s\u00fcrecin bir ger\u00e7ekli\u011fiydi. Muhtemelen o kadar\u0131n\u0131 organize etmek \u00e7ok zor olaca\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in Marmara ve Ege b\u00f6lgesindeki Rumlar tehcire dahil edilmemi\u015fti, ama Tekalif-i Harbiye uygulamas\u0131 ile \u00e7ok\u00e7a soyulduklar\u0131 gibi, seferberlikle askere al\u0131nan Rumlar da Ermeniler gibi Amele Taburlar\u0131\u2019nda \u00f6lesiye \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve b\u00fcy\u00fck bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc do\u011frudan infazla de\u011filse bile kas\u0131tl\u0131 \u00f6l\u00fcme s\u00fcr\u00fcklemenin \u00e7e\u015fitli bi\u00e7imleriyle kurban edilmi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p>1915\u2019te b\u00fct\u00fcn Ermenili\u011fi hedef alan toplu s\u00fcrg\u00fcn ve katliamlar\u0131n baz\u0131 istisnalar d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda e\u015f zamanl\u0131 olarak Rumlar\u0131 kapsamam\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131, 1915 soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 konu eden ara\u015ft\u0131rmalarda onlar\u0131n ihmal edilmesine yol a\u00e7an nesnel bir zemin olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclebilir. Ama \u00f6te yandan, 1915\u2019in hedef topluluklar\u0131 aras\u0131na giren Asuri halklar\u0131n da \u00e7o\u011fu zaman g\u00f6lgede kalmas\u0131n\u0131 dikkate alarak diyebiliriz ki, en b\u00fcy\u00fck ma\u011fdur olarak kendi adalet talebini daha erken y\u00fckselten Ermenilerin di\u011fer ma\u011fdurlarla dayan\u0131\u015fmaya gereken \u00f6nemi vermeyi\u015fi bu ihmalde ayr\u0131 bir etken olmu\u015ftur. Tabii, Asuri ve Rum topluluklar\u0131n\u0131n adalet m\u00fccadelesine \u00e7ok gecikmeli girmeleri ve dayan\u0131\u015fma y\u00f6n\u00fcnden benzer zaaflar g\u00f6stermeleri de madalyonun di\u011fer y\u00fcz\u00fc olarak g\u00f6r\u00fclmelidir.<\/p>\n<p>Rumlar\u0131n daha b\u00fcy\u00fck b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fcn \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcren Kemalist hareket d\u00f6neminde fiili hedef durumuna gelmesi ve Pontos Rumlar\u0131n\u0131n bu kesitte soyk\u0131r\u0131ma u\u011frat\u0131lmas\u0131, tabii ki \u00f6nceki s\u00fcre\u00e7ten kopuk de\u011fildir. B\u00fcy\u00fck sava\u015fta al\u0131nan yenilgi, \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131 \u015feflerin yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131na ka\u00e7mas\u0131, m\u00fctareke \u015fartlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00fclkedeki atmosferi de\u011fi\u015ftirmesi, baz\u0131 su\u00e7lular\u0131n yarg\u0131lan\u0131r olmas\u0131, s\u00fcrg\u00fcndeki ma\u011fdurlar\u0131n k\u0131smen yurtlar\u0131na geri d\u00f6nmesi ve benzeri, o b\u00fcy\u00fck tasfiye s\u00fcrecinde k\u0131sa bir kesintiye yol a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ama \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n \u0130stanbul\u2019da yitirdikleri otorite g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc Samsun\u2019dan Ankara\u2019ya yeniden tesis etmeye ba\u015flamalar\u0131yla, Hristiyan halklar\u0131 bitirmeye d\u00f6n\u00fck \u00f6nceki plan kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerden s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Ger\u00e7eklik bu oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in, aradaki k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck kesintiye ra\u011fmen 1915\u2019ten ba\u015flay\u0131p 1923\u2019e kadar uzanan k\u00f6k kaz\u0131ma hareketlerini b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fckl\u00fc g\u00f6rmek ve Hristiyan halklar\u0131n zincirleme soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131 olarak de\u011ferlendirmek gerekir. Bu durumda Ermeni, Asuri ve Rum soyk\u0131r\u0131mlar\u0131 yine kendi ba\u015f\u0131na anma ve \u00f6zel taleplere konu olmakla beraber, t\u00fcmden ayr\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 do\u011fru olmayan bir seri yok etmenin par\u00e7alar\u0131 olarak daha s\u0131k\u0131 dayan\u0131\u015fmaya ve ortak adalet davas\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fclebilir, ki do\u011frusu da budur.<\/p>\n<p>Bu s\u00fcrecin ikinci etab\u0131na \u00f6zet bir bak\u0131\u015f yapmadan \u00f6nce belirtmekte yarar var ki, Rusya\u2019n\u0131n Ekim devrimi sonucu sava\u015ftan ayr\u0131lmas\u0131 nedeniyle do\u011fu cephesinde m\u00fctareke anla\u015fmas\u0131 genel m\u00fctarekeden \u00f6nce g\u00fcndeme gelmi\u015fti. Hen\u00fcz Rus askeri \u00e7ekilmeden \u00f6nce Osmanl\u0131 devletiyle Erzincan M\u00fctarekesi\u2019ni imzalayan Sovyet y\u00f6netiminin belli bir g\u00fcvence olu\u015fturdu\u011fu durumda, Bat\u0131 Ermenistan ve Do\u011fu Pontos b\u00f6lgelerinde k\u0131r\u0131mdan arta kalm\u0131\u015f Ermeniler ve Rumlar gelece\u011fe iyimser bakabiliyordu. Ancak nihayi bir bar\u0131\u015f antla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 beklemeden, bu hassas b\u00f6lgedeki Rus birliklerinin de t\u00fcm cephelerdeki gibi \u00e7ekilmesi sonucu o m\u00fctareke \u015fartlar\u0131 ka\u011f\u0131t \u00fczerinde kal\u0131yor ve T\u00fcrk sald\u0131r\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fc a\u00e7\u0131lm\u0131\u015f oluyordu. B\u00f6ylece 1918 ba\u015flar\u0131nda eski Osmanl\u0131 vilayetlerinden Erzurum, Trabzon, Bitlis ve Van\u2019da oldu\u011fu gibi, sava\u015ftan \u00f6nce Rusya\u2019ya ait olan Kars-Ardahan b\u00f6lgesinde de kanl\u0131 tasfiye devam etti. Ard\u0131ndan genel m\u00fctareke d\u00f6neminde yurtlar\u0131na geri gelen Ermeniler ve \u00fclke s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 i\u00e7inde kalabilmi\u015f olan \u00f6nemli say\u0131daki Rumlar ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere genel olarak Hristiyan uluslar\u0131n kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131 hedeflenmeye devam edilecekti.<\/p>\n<p>Adana, Hac\u0131n, Antep, Mara\u015f \u00e7evresini kapsayan Kilikya\u2019da 1919 ba\u015flar\u0131ndan itibaren yeni bir ya\u015fam kurmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan Suriye s\u00fcrg\u00fcn\u00fcnden d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015f Ermeniler, Trabzon\u2019dan Sinop\u2019a kadar Karadeniz sahili ve i\u00e7 kesimlerini kapsayan Pontos\u2019ta \u00e7o\u011funlukla yerinde kalabilmi\u015f ve kimi de s\u00fcrg\u00fcnden d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015f olan Rumlar, ayn\u0131 b\u00f6lgedeki Ermeni kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131, Rus s\u0131n\u0131r\u0131nda yeniden i\u015fgal edilen yerlerin Ermenileri, bat\u0131da Yunan ordusunun \u00e7ekilmesini takiben \u0130zmir\u2019in Rumlar\u0131 ve Ermenileri, ayr\u0131ca i\u00e7 b\u00f6l\u00fcmde \u00f6zerklik aray\u0131\u015f\u0131 nedeniyle hedeflenen Ko\u00e7giri\u2019nin Alevi K\u00fcrtleri bu s\u00fcrecin kurbanlar\u0131 oldular. Ermeniler a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan 1915\u2019in devam\u0131 veya son perdesi olan bu d\u00f6nem (1919-1923 aras\u0131) Pontos Rumlar\u0131 i\u00e7in as\u0131l soyk\u0131r\u0131m s\u00fcreci oldu. Bat\u0131 Ermenistan, Pontos, Kilikya ve Anatolia isimli yurtlar art\u0131k tarihsel izleri de silinecek \u015fekilde kendi kadim renklerinden ar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131larak i\u00e7 edildi ve hepsinin yerine Anadolu denildi.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00fcy\u00fck tasfiyenin bu son a\u015famas\u0131n\u0131 ger\u00e7ekletirmek, yenilgi sonras\u0131 \u00fclkeden ka\u00e7m\u0131\u015f \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131 \u015feflerin izinden giden soyk\u0131r\u0131m sab\u0131kal\u0131 asker-sivil b\u00fcrokratlar\u0131n ve Ermeni-Rum-Asuri mallar\u0131n\u0131 ya\u011fmalayarak servetini b\u00fcy\u00fcten M\u00fcsl\u00fcman e\u015fraf\u0131n vazge\u00e7ilmez \u00f6nceli\u011fiydi. Kemal Pa\u015fa, kafa olarak Talat-Enver-Cemal Pa\u015fa\u2019lardan farkl\u0131 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi, bu s\u00fcre\u00e7te onlar\u0131n eksik b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131 projeyi tamamlayan bir liderlik yapt\u0131. Bir zamanlar y\u00fczde 40\u2019\u0131 Hristiyan olan bir co\u011frafyay\u0131 neredeyse tamamen T\u00fcrk-M\u00fcsl\u00fcman kimli\u011fine b\u00fcr\u00fcnd\u00fcrmeyi ba\u015fard\u0131 ve o halklara mezar edilmi\u015f kadim yurtlar \u00fczerine kurulan T\u00fcrkiye isimli \u00fcniter devlet ile yapay \u015fekilde olu\u015fturulan T\u00fcrk ulusunun da babas\u0131 oldu.<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00e7ti\u011fimiz 23 Nisan g\u00fcn\u00fc, Kemalist hareketin \u00f6rg\u00fctlenmesinde \u00f6nemli bir a\u015fama olan TBMM\u2019nin kurulu\u015funun y\u00fcz\u00fcnc\u00fc y\u0131l d\u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fcyd\u00fc. Yenilgiyle \u00e7\u0131k\u0131lan sava\u015f sonras\u0131 m\u00fctareke ko\u015fullar\u0131na ister istemez boyun e\u011fmi\u015f Osmanl\u0131 h\u00fck\u00fcmeti yerine Ankara merkezli yeni politik olu\u015fuma me\u015fruiyet kazand\u0131rman\u0131n arac\u0131 olan bu meclis, \u0130tilaf devletleriyle daha elveri\u015fli ko\u015fullarda anla\u015fma zemini bulmaya ve m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olabilen en geni\u015f s\u0131n\u0131rlar \u00fczerinde yeni bir T\u00fcrkiye kurmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015facakt\u0131. Sonu\u00e7ta bu amaca ula\u015f\u0131ld\u0131 ve T\u00fcrkiye Cumhuriyeti ad\u0131nda yeni bir devlet kuruldu. Ama bu hi\u00e7 de sonradan propaganda edildi\u011fi gibi \u201cyedi d\u00fcvele kar\u015f\u0131\u201d verilmi\u015f \u201c\u015fanl\u0131 bir kurtulu\u015f sava\u015f\u0131\u201dn\u0131n ya da sol cenahta daha \u00e7ok sevilen tabiriyle \u201ctam ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131zl\u0131k u\u011fruna anti-emperyalist m\u00fccadele\u201dnin \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc de\u011fildi.<\/p>\n<p>\u0130stanbul\u2019u i\u015fgal eden \u0130ngiltere\u2019nin, Antalya\u2019ya asker \u00e7\u0131kartan \u0130talya\u2019n\u0131n, Kilikya\u2019ya asker g\u00f6nderen Fransa\u2019n\u0131n buralar\u0131 kal\u0131c\u0131 \u015fekilde s\u00f6m\u00fcrge yapma niyeti olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi, bu yabanc\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7lere kar\u015f\u0131 hi\u00e7 bir yerde seferberlik de yap\u0131lmam\u0131\u015f ve \u00e7at\u0131\u015fmaya girilmemi\u015fti. Bunun yegane istisnas\u0131 olan Kilikya\u2019da Kuvay-\u0131 Milliyecilerin \u00e7at\u0131\u015fma hedefi ise asl\u0131nda Frans\u0131zlar de\u011fil, onun yan\u0131nda b\u00f6lgeye gelen Ermeni g\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc birlikleriydi. Ermeni g\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fcler orada kendi halk\u0131n\u0131n g\u00fcvenli\u011fini sa\u011flamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131rken, b\u00f6lgeyi tekrar Ermenilerden temizlemek isteyen T\u00fcrk kuvvetleri bir \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde zorunlu olarak Frans\u0131z askeriyle de \u00e7at\u0131\u015f\u0131r, ama \u00e7ok ge\u00e7meden Ankara\u2019yla gizli anla\u015fmaya varan Frans\u0131zlar kendi g\u00fc\u00e7lerini \u00e7ekerken geride kalan Ermeni halk\u0131 yeni k\u0131r\u0131mlara u\u011frat\u0131l\u0131r. Gerek Frans\u0131z, gerekse \u0130talyan askeri geri \u00e7ekilirken silahlar\u0131n\u0131 T\u00fcrklere hediye ederler. \u0130talya gibi \u0130ngiliz g\u00fc\u00e7leriyle de hi\u00e7 bir \u00e7at\u0131\u015fma olmam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Kemalist hareketin bunlara kar\u015f\u0131 \u00f6rg\u00fctlendi\u011fi b\u00fcy\u00fck bir yaland\u0131r. M\u00fcdafaa-i Hukuk Cemiyetleri, Kuvay-\u0131 Milliye\u2019ler, Heyet-i Temsiliye\u2019ler \u00f6zellikle mal-m\u00fclk ya\u011fmas\u0131 yapan ki\u015filer taraf\u0131ndan yerli Hristiyan halklara kar\u015f\u0131 kurulmu\u015ftur. Erzurum ve Sivas kongreleri gibi, Ankara\u2019da kurulan meclisin de d\u0131\u015far\u0131ya verdi\u011fi mesaj; \u201cT\u00fcrk milli m\u00fccadelesinin \u0130tilaf devletlerine kar\u015f\u0131 de\u011fil, ancak Anadolu\u2019da Rumluk ve Ermenilik kurulmas\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 oldu\u011fu\u201d \u015feklindedir.<\/p>\n<p>K\u0131saca Millici T\u00fcrklerin parolas\u0131; yerli Hristiyan uluslar\u0131n stat\u00fc kazanma \u00e7abalar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 sava\u015f, Emperyalist devletlerle ise diplomasi ve uzla\u015fma olarak \u00f6zetlenebilir. Onlar Ermenilerin ve Rumlar\u0131n belli b\u00f6lgelerde ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131zl\u0131k veya \u00f6zerklik kazanma ihtimaline kar\u015f\u0131 seferber olurken, onlardan gaspetmi\u015f olduklar\u0131 maddi zenginlikleri elde tutabilmek ve b\u00fct\u00fcn o b\u00f6lgeleri mutlak T\u00fcrk yurduna d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrebilmek i\u00e7in geride kalanlar\u0131n k\u00f6k\u00fcn\u00fc getirmeye and i\u00e7mi\u015flerdi. \u201cVatan savunmas\u0131\u201d dedikleri b\u00f6yle bir \u015feydi.<\/p>\n<p>M. Kemal\u2019in 20 subayla birlikte \u0130stanbul\u2019dan bir vapurla Samsun\u2019a gitmesi \u0130ngilizlerin verdi\u011fi vize sayesinde m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen, resmi tarih bunu sonradan \u201cEmperyalist i\u015fgale kar\u015f\u0131 sava\u015f\u0131 \u00f6rg\u00fctlemek i\u00e7in yap\u0131lan tarihi \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u201d efsanesine \u00e7evirmi\u015ftir. \u00d6nceleri kimsenin hat\u0131r\u0131na gelmeyen 19 May\u0131s g\u00fcn\u00fc, 1936\u2019da M. Kemal\u2019in bir milat gibi ortaya atmas\u0131 ve dalkavuklar\u0131n\u0131n da ertesi y\u0131ldan ba\u015flayarak kutlamaya konu etmeleri sonucu bir bayram haline getirilmi\u015ftir. \u0130stanbul\u2019da padi\u015fah\u0131n yaveri iken Meclis-i Mebusan\u2019da al\u0131nan bir kararla y\u00fcksek askeri yetkiler verilip Samsun\u2019a g\u00f6nderilen M. Kemal\u2019in neyle g\u00f6revlendirildi\u011fi de ilgin\u00e7tir.<\/p>\n<p>Samsun ve havalisinde T\u00fcrk \u00e7etelerin Rum k\u00f6ylerine y\u00f6nelik tecav\u00fczleri o s\u0131ralar ciddi \u015fikayet konusu olmu\u015f, \u0130ngilizler bu duruma kar\u015f\u0131 Osmanl\u0131 h\u00fck\u00fcmetinin m\u00fcdahalesini istemi\u015f ve bunun \u00fczerine b\u00f6lgede asayi\u015fi sa\u011flama g\u00f6reviyle M. Kemal Samsun\u2019a g\u00f6nderilmi\u015ftir. Fakat resmi g\u00f6revinin tam tersine o daha b\u00f6lgeye gelir gelmez m\u00fctecaviz \u00e7etelerin ba\u015f\u0131 olan Topal Osman\u2019\u0131 himayesine al\u0131r, 1915 k\u0131r\u0131m\u0131ndaki su\u00e7lar\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 hakk\u0131nda verilen tutuklama karar\u0131n\u0131 da padi\u015fah arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla kald\u0131rtarak daha c\u00fcretli hareket etmesine imkan sa\u011flar ve Pontoslu Rumlar\u0131 temizleme i\u015fini onun tecr\u00fcbeli ellerine emanet eder.<\/p>\n<p>H. \u0130zzettin Dinamo ve Falih R\u0131fk\u0131 gibi \u00f6nemli T\u00fcrk yazarlar\u0131n tan\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131yla Topal Osman\u2019\u0131 konu eden tarih\u00e7i Ay\u015fe H\u00fcr ve ba\u015fka ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n makaleleri bu canavar ki\u015fili\u011fin \u201cmezar\u0131n\u0131 kendine kazd\u0131r\u0131p diri diri adam g\u00f6mmek, vapur kazanlar\u0131nda k\u00f6m\u00fcr yerine canl\u0131 adam yakmak\u201d gibi deh\u015fet verici etnik temizlik y\u00f6ntemlerini yans\u0131tmaktad\u0131r. M\u00fctareke d\u00f6neminde d\u00fczenli ordular\u0131 da\u011f\u0131t\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olan T\u00fcrkler yeniden ordu olu\u015fturuncaya kadar alanda bu gibi \u201cgayr-i mesul\u201d kuvvetlerle etkili olmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fm\u0131\u015flard\u0131r. Kolordunun la\u011fvedilmesiyle 9 Aral\u0131k 1920\u2019de kurulan Merkez Ordusu tam da bu ihtiya\u00e7 temelinde antik Pontos\u2019un ba\u015fkenti olan Amasya\u2019da konumland\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bu ordunun ba\u015f\u0131na ge\u00e7irilen Sakall\u0131 Nurettin Pa\u015fa da gaddarl\u0131kta Topal Osman\u2019la yar\u0131\u015fan biriydi. Bu ikili Pontos\u2019un yan\u0131 s\u0131ra Ko\u00e7giri\u2019nin oca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 da s\u00f6nd\u00fcrmede a\u015f\u0131r\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131yla nam salacak, Ankara meclisinde bir nebze vicdanl\u0131 olan mebuslar bunlar\u0131n gemlenmesi i\u00e7in \u00e7aba g\u00f6stermeye mecbur kalacakt\u0131. Kemal\u2019in Samsun\u2019a g\u00f6nderilme gerek\u00e7esinin tam tersi y\u00f6nde seyreden icraatine bakarak, bu i\u015fin i\u00e7inde ona vizeyi veren \u0130ngilizlerin de fark\u0131na var\u0131p g\u00f6z yumdu\u011fu bir oyun oldu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmek hi\u00e7 yersiz olmaz. Padi\u015fah Vahdettin ve Sadrazam Damat Ferid\u2019in M. Kemal gibi bir \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131y\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck yetkilerle oraya g\u00f6nderirken bir s\u00fcredir zaten \u00f6rg\u00fctlenmekte olan ganimet\u00e7i ve sab\u0131kal\u0131 \u00e7evrelere g\u00fc\u00e7 kazand\u0131racaklar\u0131n\u0131 bilmiyor olmalar\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclemez. S\u00fcrece ili\u015fkin de\u011ferlendirmesinde buna dikkat \u00e7eken tarih\u00e7i Raymond Kevorkian, onlar\u0131n bu yolla Paris\u2019teki m\u00fczakereler i\u00e7in ellerini g\u00fc\u00e7lendirmeyi umduklar\u0131 yorumunu yap\u0131yor. O g\u00fcnlerde (15 May\u0131s 1919) yine \u0130ngilizlerin y\u00f6nlendirmesiyle Yunan ordusunun \u0130zmir\u2019e \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 dikkate al\u0131n\u0131rsa, bir tarafta tehdit yarat\u0131p T\u00fcrklerin savunma me\u015fruiyeti kazanmas\u0131na ve K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck Asya\u2019da hummal\u0131 \u015fekilde \u00f6rg\u00fctlenmesine yol a\u00e7t\u0131ktan sonra, isteksizce sahaya s\u00fcr\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f Yunanl\u0131lar\u0131 \u00e7ekilmeye zorlamak ve stratejik \u00e7\u0131karlar temelinde T\u00fcrklerle anla\u015fmak \u015feklinde \u00f6zetlenebilecek bir senaryo adeta dan\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131 sahnelenmi\u015f gibidir.<\/p>\n<p>Ba\u015ftan planl\u0131 olmasa bile bu y\u00f6nl\u00fc bir gidi\u015fat\u0131 s\u00fcre\u00e7 i\u00e7inde g\u00f6ren \u0130ngiltere\u2019nin Pontos\u2019ta Rum soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131na g\u00f6z yumdu\u011fu kesin olarak s\u00f6ylenebilir. Trajik geli\u015fmeleri m\u00fcdahalesiz izlemi\u015f ve Hristiyan temizli\u011finin son safhas\u0131na a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a yol vermi\u015flerdir. M. Kemal\u2019in Samsun ve \u00f6tesinde soyundu\u011fu rol\u00fcn g\u00f6r\u00fclmesi \u00fczerine \u015feklen nota vermeleri, onunla \u0130stanbul aras\u0131ndaki iplerin kopmas\u0131 ard\u0131ndan yine geli\u015fmeleri seyretmeleri hep bir mizansen izlenimi veriyor. \u0130nsanl\u0131k su\u00e7lar\u0131na ve kitlesel trajedilere izin vermeme duyarl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 olsa m\u00fctareke h\u00fck\u00fcmlerine dayanarak daha ba\u015ftan b\u00f6yle bir oyuna meydan vermeyip Karadeniz sahillerine kendi donanmalar\u0131yla \u00e7\u0131kartma yapabilirlerdi. Ama ne getirece\u011fi belli olmayan par\u00e7al\u0131 bir co\u011frafya yerine kendi i\u00e7inde homojenlik sa\u011flayan b\u00fcy\u00fck\u00e7e bir T\u00fcrkiye\u2019yi tek olarak kendilerine ba\u011flamak daha hesapl\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Kemalistlerin e\u015f zamanl\u0131 olarak ili\u015fkide bulunduklar\u0131 Sovyet y\u00f6netimi de, yan\u0131 ba\u015f\u0131nda emperyalizmin \u00fcss\u00fcne d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fecek bir devlet yerine kendisiyle \u2013art\u0131k nereye kadar olursa- dostluk i\u00e7inde ve hi\u00e7 de\u011filse tarafs\u0131z bir devletin olu\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00fcmit ederek, d\u00fcnya sava\u015f\u0131 i\u00e7indeki soyk\u0131r\u0131m uygulamalar\u0131na benzer bir prati\u011fin bu defa da Pontos illerinde hayata ge\u00e7irildi\u011fini g\u00f6re g\u00f6re pragmatik davran\u0131p Kemalist y\u00f6netime deste\u011fini s\u00fcrd\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Sonu\u00e7ta kurulan o devletin yine de emperyalizmin ileri karakolu haline gelmesi bu i\u015fin ayr\u0131 bir ironik yan\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00f6nemin uluslararas\u0131 konjonkt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc belirleyen \u0130ngiltere ile Sovyetler Birli\u011fi aras\u0131ndaki bilek g\u00fcre\u015finin fark\u0131nda ve i\u015fgal etti\u011fi yerin jeo-politik \u00f6neminin de ayr\u0131m\u0131nda olarak her iki b\u00fcy\u00fck g\u00fc\u00e7 aras\u0131nda kendi lehine avantaj sa\u011flayacak diplomasi taktikleri izleyen Ankara, ayn\u0131 anda her ikisinden destek bulmu\u015f, ama esas ve kal\u0131c\u0131 ittifak\u0131 \u0130ngiltere ile yaparken Sovyetlerle dostlu\u011fu takiyeci bi\u00e7imde kullanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kemalistler i\u00e7in Sovyet dostlu\u011funun i\u00e7 temizlik bak\u0131m\u0131ndan askeri planda g\u00fcc\u00fcne g\u00fc\u00e7 katmas\u0131 yan\u0131nda daha \u00f6nemli i\u015flevi, \u0130ngiltere ve m\u00fcttefikleriyle diplomatik pazarl\u0131kta elini g\u00fc\u00e7lendirmesi olmu\u015ftur. Ekim devrimiyle sava\u015ftan \u00e7ekildi\u011fi a\u015famada Osmanl\u0131 devletinin Ermeni ulusuna kar\u015f\u0131 i\u015fledi\u011fi toplu k\u0131y\u0131m su\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 k\u0131nayan ve Bat\u0131 Ermenistan\u2019\u0131n o an itibariyle Rus denetiminde olan b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde Ermeni ulusunun kendi kaderini tayin hakk\u0131n\u0131 kullanabilmesine imkan verecek geri d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f, yeniden yerle\u015fim ve d\u00fczenlemeler yap\u0131l\u0131ncaya kadar g\u00fcvenlik ama\u00e7l\u0131 bir t\u00fcr garant\u00f6rl\u00fck yapmay\u0131 benimseyen Sovyet y\u00f6netimi de, ne yaz\u0131k ki bu tavr\u0131nda tutarl\u0131 davranmay\u0131p b\u00f6lgedeki askeri g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc erkenden geri \u00e7ekerek Karabekir\u2019in komutas\u0131ndaki T\u00fcrk ordusunun Do\u011fu Ermenistan s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131na kadar dayanmas\u0131na imkan verdi\u011fi gibi, bilahare soyk\u0131r\u0131m sab\u0131kal\u0131 \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131 \u015feflere kucak a\u00e7maktan tutal\u0131m M. Kemal liderli\u011findeki harekete s\u0131n\u0131rs\u0131z destek vermeye kadar bir dizi ilkesiz ve pragmatik tav\u0131rla onlar\u0131n normalde kaybedece\u011fi alanlarda soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrerek yeniden egemenlik sa\u011flamas\u0131na dayanak olmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p>Bu \u015fekilde ortaya \u00e7\u0131kabilen yeni devletin yeni ve temiz bir sayfa olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 son derece a\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131r. \u00d6yle bir sayfa, ancak \u00f6nceki d\u00f6nemin su\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131n sorguland\u0131\u011f\u0131, adaletinin sa\u011fland\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve imha edilmi\u015f halklardan geriye kalanlar\u0131n yurtlar\u0131nda \u00f6zg\u00fcrce ya\u015famalar\u0131na imkan tan\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 taktirde s\u00f6zkonusu olabilirdi.
