Demek ki \u00f6yle bir bilinmezlik vard\u0131 ki bu alanda yaz\u0131 yazanlar ve benim gibi yazmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fanlar da b\u00f6yle bir soruya odakland\u0131k. Bir \u00fclke i\u00e7inde ya da bir toplumda farkl\u0131 bir sosyal grubu belirlemek i\u00e7in BM\u2019nin d\u00fcnyada belirledi\u011fi \u00a0kriterlere g\u00f6re Lazlar\u0131n T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de farkl\u0131 bir kimlik oldu\u011fu \u00e7eyrek y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131 a\u015fk\u0131n bir s\u00fcredir topluma anlat\u0131l\u0131yor. Ancak g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde h\u00e2l\u00e2 Karadenizlilerin Laz oldu\u011fu alg\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n ya da Lazca denildi\u011finde \u201ccideyurum celeyurum\u201d anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n tamamen ortadan kalkt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyemeyiz. Zaten bizim amac\u0131m\u0131z da Karadenizlileri Lazla\u015ft\u0131rma y\u00f6n\u00fcnde yeni bir tart\u0131\u015fma olu\u015fturmak de\u011fil. \u00a0Amac\u0131m\u0131z Karadeniz b\u00f6lgesinde de\u011fi\u015fik dil, k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve uygarl\u0131klar\u0131n ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 fark\u0131ndal\u0131\u011f\u0131 yok etmenin yanl\u0131\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131na dikkat \u00e7ekmektir. Bir halk kendi \u00f6zg\u00fcn kimli\u011fi ve \u00f6zellikleriyle tan\u0131nm\u0131yorsa \u015f\u00fcphesiz baz\u0131 yalan yanl\u0131\u015f yak\u0131\u015ft\u0131rmalar bu \u00f6zelliklerin yerini alacakt\u0131r. Ama daha da k\u00f6t\u00fc olan ise Karadeniz\u2019de ya\u015fayan di\u011fer etnik unsurlar\u0131 yok say\u0131p t\u00fcm Karadeniz\u2019i tektiple\u015ftirmektir. Bu ayn\u0131 zamanda Cumhuriyet d\u00f6nemi T\u00fcrkiye\u2019sinin tek prototip uygulamas\u0131d\u0131r. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc kimi sosyal bilimcilere g\u00f6re 42 etnik grubun ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin ba\u015fka b\u00f6lgelerinde benim bilebildi\u011fim kadar\u0131yla b\u00f6yle bir uygulama ya da alg\u0131 y\u00f6netimi yok.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lazlar\u0131n yak\u0131n ge\u00e7mi\u015fine bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda hen\u00fcz birka\u00e7 y\u00fczy\u0131l \u00f6nce M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olduklar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Daha gerilere do\u011fru yap\u0131lan ara\u015ft\u0131rmalardaysa Lazlar\u0131n MS 6. Y\u00fczy\u0131la kadar Paganist oldu\u011fu\u00a0 bilgilerine yer verilmekte. 6. y\u00fczy\u0131ldan sonra Hristiyanl\u0131\u011fa ge\u00e7en Lazlar, 1462 y\u0131l\u0131nda Osmanl\u0131lar\u0131n b\u00f6lgeyi ele ge\u00e7irmesiyle M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanl\u0131kla tan\u0131\u015f\u0131p yakla\u015f\u0131k 200-300 y\u0131ll\u0131k bir s\u00fcre\u00e7te ad\u0131m ad\u0131m M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanla\u015fm\u0131\u015flar. Lazlar\u0131n M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olmalar\u0131 Osmanl\u0131 tebaas\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7lendirirken kendi de\u011ferlerinden kopar\u0131p uzakla\u015ft\u0131rm\u0131\u015f. Bu ba\u011flamda Lazlar\u0131n zorla M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131klar\u0131na dair iddialar varsa da Osmanl\u0131\u2019n\u0131n din konusundaki genel tutumuyla ba\u011fda\u015fmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ve Lazistan\u2019\u0131n yaz\u0131lmam\u0131\u015f olan tarihini tarih\u00e7ilerin de\u011ferlendirmelerine b\u0131rakmak gerekti\u011fine inan\u0131yorum.. Ancak k\u0131smi zorlamalar\u0131n oldu\u011fu ve M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olmayan Lazlara a\u011f\u0131r ekonomik yapt\u0131r\u0131mlar uyguland\u0131\u011f\u0131na dair emareler de yok de\u011fil. S\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fc etti\u011fimiz zaman dilimi hen\u00fcz d\u00fcn denebilecek kadar yak\u0131n bir ge\u00e7mi\u015ftir ve baz\u0131 emarelerin izleri de hen\u00fcz tam olarak silinmemi\u015ftir. \u015e\u00f6yle ki bat\u0131dan do\u011fuya do\u011fru gidildik\u00e7e M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanla\u015ft\u0131rman\u0131n bir hayli ge\u00e7 zamanlara kadar s\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ve \u00f6zellikle Arhavi civar\u0131nda uzun direnmeler ya\u015fan\u0131p 1800\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n ortalar\u0131n\u0131 da a\u015farak sonlar\u0131na kadar sarkt\u0131\u011f\u0131 kimi y\u00f6re halk\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan bug\u00fcn bile do\u011frulanmaktad\u0131r. Hatta Arhavi\u2019de en son M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olan birka\u00e7 aile ya da akraba grubu g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde bile Yeni M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olarak an\u0131lmaktad\u0131rlar. Sonu\u00e7 olarak zorlama, cebir ve \u015fiddet iddialar\u0131na kat\u0131lmasak da, yumu\u015fak bir ge\u00e7i\u015fle el bebe g\u00fcl bebe M\u00fcsl\u00fcman olmad\u0131klar\u0131na dair emarelerin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 da belirtmek istiyoruz. Yoksa cebir ve \u015fiddet \u00fczerine bir tart\u0131\u015fma olu\u015fturmak anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131nda de\u011filiz elbette. Amac\u0131m\u0131z dini de\u011fi\u015fen toplumlarda ya\u015fanabilecek muhtemel olumsuzluklar\u0131n yan\u0131nda\u00a0 kaybedilen de\u011ferlere de dikkat \u00e7ekmektir. Zira Lazlar inan\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 de\u011fi\u015ftirmekle sadece dinlerini kaybetmediler. Osmanl\u0131ya ba\u011flanmakla ayn\u0131 zamanda d\u00fcnya kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda o zamana kadar ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131klar\u0131 krall\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve kendi tebaalar\u0131n\u0131 da ebediyete g\u00f6md\u00fcler.<\/p>\n<p>Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla Lazlar cumhuriyetin kap\u0131s\u0131ndan i\u00e7eri girdiklerinde dinlerine ve uyrukluklar\u0131na \u00e7oktan El Fatiha \u00e7ekmi\u015flerdi ama dilleri ve etnik kimlikleriyle aidiyet \u00f6zellikleri hen\u00fcz canl\u0131yd\u0131. Canl\u0131yd\u0131 ki cumhuriyete sancakla girdiler. Osmanl\u0131lar d\u00f6neminde idari bir birim olup \u00f6zerk stat\u00fcs\u00fc olan Lazistan Sanca\u011f\u0131, ayn\u0131 stat\u00fcde birinci ve ikinci mecliste de temsil edilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Cumhuriyetin ilk y\u0131llar\u0131nda olu\u015fturulan ulusla\u015ft\u0131rma politikas\u0131yla benimsenen tek dil tek millet anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de T\u00fcrk\u00e7e d\u0131\u015f\u0131ndaki dilleri yok sayd\u0131. \u00d6nce resmi kurumlarda, ard\u0131ndan \u00e7ar\u015f\u0131 Pazar gibi g\u00fcnl\u00fck hayat dinamizminden \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131lan yerel diller sadece kapal\u0131 k\u00f6y hayat\u0131 i\u00e7inde kald\u0131. De\u011fi\u015ftirilen il\u00e7e, k\u00f6y ve yer adlar\u0131yla, ilkokulun e\u011fitsel kollar\u0131nda yer alan Lazca ile M\u00fccadele kolu, Vatanda\u015f T\u00fcrk\u00e7e Konu\u015f kampanyalar\u0131 ve \u00f6zellikle anne babalar taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7ocuklar\u0131na uygulanan Lazca konu\u015fturmama gibi cayd\u0131r\u0131c\u0131l\u0131k uygulamalar\u0131 nispeten ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olduysa da Lazcay\u0131 k\u00f6kten yok edemedi. \u00d6zellikle kapal\u0131 k\u00f6y hayat\u0131 kad\u0131nlar\u0131 Lazcan\u0131n g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze kadar ta\u015f\u0131nmas\u0131nda en \u00f6nemli fakt\u00f6r oldular. Bug\u00fcn geldi\u011fimiz noktadaysa neredeyse T\u00fcrk\u00e7e konu\u015fmay\u0131 beceremeyen (en az\u0131ndan rahat konu\u015famayan) \u00e7o\u011fu k\u00f6y kad\u0131nlar\u0131 bile g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde Lazca konu\u015fmay\u0131 tercih etmiyorlar. \u00c7ocuklar\u0131yla Lazca konu\u015fmaz oldular. Yani Lazlar dillerini de kaybetmek \u00fczereler. \u00d6nce topraklar\u0131n\u0131, sonra sembolik de olsa krall\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131, ard\u0131ndan tebaalar\u0131n\u0131 ve uyruklar\u0131n\u0131 kaybeden Lazlar dillerini de kaybederlerse art\u0131k hi\u00e7bir aidiyet \u00f6zellikleri kalmayacak ve gelecekte ar\u015fiv bilgileri d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda Laz halk\u0131ndan s\u00f6z edilmeyecek.<\/p>\n<p>Sonu\u00e7 olarak tarihte Lazika Krall\u0131\u011f\u0131 olarak an\u0131lan Lazlar, 1462 y\u0131l\u0131nda Osmanl\u0131lar\u0131n b\u00f6lgeyi ele ge\u00e7irmesiyle Lazistan Sanca\u011f\u0131 olarak Osmanl\u0131 y\u00f6netiminde varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcrler.\u00a0 Cumhuriyetin ilan\u0131ndan sonra sancak ve \u00f6zerklik stat\u00fclerini kaybeden Lazlar, Do\u011fu Karadeniz\u2019de ya\u015fayan T\u00fcrkiye Cumhuriyeti vatanda\u015f\u0131 bir halk olarak g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze gelmekte ve g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde T\u00fcrkiye Cumhuriyetine ba\u011fl\u0131 en sad\u0131k halk olarak an\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Hatta T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin b\u00f6l\u00fcnmez b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn betonu \u00e7imentosu diye tabir edilmektedir.<\/p>\n<p>Oysa bizler ne \u00e7imento, ne beton, ne toprak, ne ta\u015f\u0131z. Bizler insan\u0131z d\u00fcnyan\u0131n di\u011fer halklar\u0131 gibi bir halk\u0131z. Dilimiz k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcm\u00fcz ve t\u00fcm farkl\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131m\u0131zla binlerce y\u0131ld\u0131r bu topraklarda var\u0131z. Yeri geldi\u011finde \u00fclkemizi ve topraklar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcne savunuruz ama \u0131rk\u00e7\u0131 s\u00f6ylemlerin g\u00fc\u00e7lendirici unsuru olamay\u0131z. Zaman zaman milliyet\u00e7i \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015flar \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p a\u011f\u0131r bassa da, Karadeniz topraklar\u0131 ayn\u0131 zamanda Tanzimat d\u00f6neminden bu yana devrimci \u00f6nderlerin yeti\u015fmesiyle de \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>2000\u2019li Y\u0131llar\u0131n T\u00fcrkiye\u2019sinde birlik ve beraberlik daha da \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli olup, etnik ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel haklar cumhuriyetimizi ayakta tutabilmenin \u00e7imentosu olacakt\u0131r. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde dayat\u0131lmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lan alt kimlik-\u00fcst kimlik kavramlar\u0131n\u0131 da bu y\u00f6nde de\u011ferlendirmek gerekir. Bir toplumun kimli\u011finin alt ya da \u00fcst olmas\u0131 ancak \u0131rk\u00e7\u0131 toplumlarda kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k bulabilir.
