B\u00fcy\u00fck f\u0131\u00e7\u0131lar i\u00e7inde peynir, eri\u015fte, tereya\u011f, k\u0131ymal\u0131k et, kavurma, koyunun pa\u00e7al\u0131k ayaklar\u0131, tuzla kurutulmu\u015f bal\u0131k, \u00e7e\u015fitli tur\u015fular ve dolmal\u0131k yaprak saklan\u0131rd\u0131. Daha k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck f\u0131\u00e7\u0131lar i\u00e7inde ise re\u00e7el, tahin, \u015ferbet vs muhafaza edilirdi. S\u00f6ylemek gerekir ki mevsim meyveleri ve ye\u015fillikleri evlerde hep mevcuttu. \u00d6\u011flen yeme\u011fi yine \u00e7ok basit olurdu, mesela sahanda yumurta pekmez ve peynir. Ayinden sonra aile bireyleri ak\u015fam yeme\u011fi i\u00e7in sofran\u0131n etraf\u0131na taplan\u0131rlar. Hanenin b\u00fcy\u00fc\u011f\u00fc dua ettikten sonra yemek ba\u015flar. Yemekte bulgur \u00e7orbas\u0131, ayran, ye\u015fillik ve so\u011fan vard\u0131r. Pazar g\u00fcnleri haz\u0131rlanan yemekte muhakkak et de olurdu. Bayram g\u00fcnlerinde ise bu basit men\u00fc zenginle\u015fir bolluk ve \u00e7e\u015fitlilik kazan\u0131rd\u0131. Mesela Karnaval zaman\u0131 farkl\u0131 yiyecekler yan\u0131nda s\u00fctla\u00e7, Paskalya\u2019da dere bal\u0131\u011f\u0131, pirin\u00e7 pilav\u0131, yumurtal\u0131 piyaz vs haz\u0131rland\u0131rd\u0131. Tarlada yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma s\u0131ras\u0131nda yenen yemek genellikle yo\u011furt \u00e7orbas\u0131yd\u0131. Bu\u011fday\u0131 tarladan imc usul\u00fc ile toplay\u0131p d\u00f6verlerdi. Bu\u011fday\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 kalaylanm\u0131\u015f b\u00fcy\u00fck bir metal le\u011fen i\u00e7inde ha\u015flay\u0131p \u00e7at\u0131ya serer ve kurumaya b\u0131rak\u0131rlard\u0131. Bundan daha sonra bu\u011fday haz\u0131rlay\u0131p ke\u015fkek, \u00e7orba ve pilavlarda kullan\u0131rlard\u0131. Y\u0131lda iki \u00fc\u00e7 kere pi\u015firilip daha sonra kurutulur ve ekme\u011fi kilerde saklarlar. Yiyecekleri zaman \u00fczerine su serpip yumu\u015fat\u0131rlar. Tekrar sac \u00fcst\u00fcnde fakat mayas\u0131z, sulu hamurla ta\u015f ekme\u011fi haz\u0131rlan\u0131rd\u0131. Ev han\u0131m\u0131 k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir kep\u00e7e yard\u0131m\u0131yla hamurdan sekiz-on ekmek \u00e7\u0131kacak \u015fekilde al\u0131p s\u0131cak sac \u00fczerine doldururdu. M\u00fc\u015fterinin iste\u011fine g\u00f6re pi\u015firmeden evvel \u00fczerine yumurta k\u0131rarlard\u0131, tuzlu tereya\u011f\u0131 s\u00fcrerlerdi veya beyaz peynir par\u00e7alar\u0131 koyarlard\u0131.
