Buradaki d\u00fczenli yerle\u015fimi ba\u015fka bir yerde g\u00f6remezsiniz. Bu y\u00fczden de yerli yazarlar taraf\u0131ndan \u201csurlar krali\u00e7esi\u201d diye adland\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Mardin, kalenin bulundu\u011fu tepenin g\u00fcney cephesinde kurulu olup, Timurlenk da\u011flar\u0131n\u0131n yemye\u015fil tepeleriyle s\u00fcsl\u00fc manzaras\u0131na bakar. Kuzeyindeki yemye\u015fil ormanlar aras\u0131nda yer alan k\u00f6yler ise, ba\u011flar\u0131 ve meralar\u0131 ile Mardin evlerine \u015firin manzaralar sunarlar. Kalenin eteklerindeki basamaklanm\u0131\u015f yama\u00e7larda yeralan evler, bu sayede biribirlerinin manzaras\u0131n\u0131 ve havas\u0131n\u0131 kapatmaz. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu evler ince nak\u0131\u015flarla bezeli sar\u0131 ve beyaz anahit ta\u015f\u0131ndan yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 18. y\u00fczy\u0131la kadar tamamen ayakta duran Mardin kalesi bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze ula\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu kalenin i\u00e7inde bir zamanlar saraylar, evler ve onlar\u0131 \u00e7evreleyen bah\u00e7eler, sarn\u0131\u00e7lar, erzak depolar\u0131 vard\u0131. Bunlar\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131, gayet bak\u0131ms\u0131z bir vaziyette g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze ula\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Kalenin zindanlar\u0131 ise 1914 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar hapishane olarak kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u015eehirde ve yak\u0131n civar\u0131nda pek \u00e7ok su kayna\u011f\u0131 ve maden yata\u011f\u0131 vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0130lk kurulu\u015f tarihi hakk\u0131nda kesin bir bilgi olmayan Mardin\u2019in tarihi M\u00d6 \u00fc\u00e7 bin y\u0131la kadar bilinmektedir. \u0130ran-Anadolu-Mezopotamya aras\u0131nda m\u00fchim bir noktada yeralan Mardin\u2019i ele ge\u00e7irmek pek \u00e7ok kral\u0131n ve komutan\u0131n d\u00fc\u015f\u00fc olmu\u015ftur. M\u00d6 333\u2019te B\u00fcy\u00fck \u0130skender taraf\u0131ndan istila edilerek tarihe ge\u00e7en Mardin; sonralar\u0131 Romal\u0131lar ba\u015fta olmak \u00fczere pek \u00e7ok istilac\u0131n\u0131n h\u00fckm\u00fc alt\u0131na girmi\u015f, kimi ku\u015fatmalara da kar\u015f\u0131 durabilmi\u015ftir. B\u00fct\u00fcn Asya\u2019ya ve Anadolu\u2019ya boyun e\u011fdiren Timurlenk, ezici askeri g\u00fcc\u00fc ve h\u00fcnerine ra\u011fmen y\u0131llar s\u00fcren ku\u015fatmas\u0131n\u0131n sonunda \u015fehre tam anlam\u0131yla boyun e\u011fdiremeden geri d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mardin ve Ermeniler<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tarih boyunca Masis, Massius, Malide, Mardius gibi \u00e7e\u015fitli adlarla an\u0131lan Mardin\u2019in ad\u0131n\u0131n, Ermenice sava\u015f\u00e7\u0131 anlam\u0131na gelen \u201cmardi\u201d kelimesinden geldi\u011fi s\u00f6ylenir. Ortado\u011fu\u2019da ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan H\u0131ristiyanl\u0131k, daha ilk devirlerinden itibaren Mardin\u2019de de kabul g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Derdulyanus (MS 155- 220) bunu \u015f\u00f6yle anlat\u0131r: \u201cMezopotamya halklar\u0131; Persler, Marlar ve di\u011ferleri H\u0131ristiyanl\u0131\u011fa inand\u0131lar.\u201d MS.2. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n sonlar\u0131na do\u011fru ya\u015fam\u0131\u015f olan \u0130skenderiyeli Dionysos ise \u201cya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131m \u00e7a\u011fda Mezopotamya\u2019da in\u015fa edilmi\u015f kiliseler g\u00f6rd\u00fcm\u201d demi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mardin\u2019de pek \u00e7ok milletten ve dinden cemaatler olagelmi\u015fti: Tiirkler, Araplar, Ermeniler, Rumlar, S\u00fcryaniler, Keldaniler, Nasturiler, Yezidiler ve \u015eems\u00eeler (yani g\u00fcne\u015fe tapanlar). Mardin\u2019deki en eski ibadethanelerden birisi 5. y\u00fczy\u0131l ba\u015flar\u0131na tarihlenen Surp Kevork kilisesidir. Vartapet Husig G\u00fclyan\u2019\u0131n elyazmas\u0131nda yaz\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131na g\u00f6re, 1822\u2019de Piskopos Hovakim Tazbazyan\u2019m bu kilisede yapt\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 tamir s\u0131ras\u0131nda mermer bir kitabe bulunmu\u015ftur. Bunun \u00fczerine Vartapet Andreas Ahmaranyan, Keldan\u00ee kilisesinin rahibinin de yard\u0131m\u0131yla, kitabenin Asuri alfabesiyle Ermenice olarak yaz\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7\u00f6zm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Kitabede \u201cKomutan Surp Kevork ad\u0131na 420 y\u0131l\u0131nda yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u201d ibaresine rastlanmaktayd\u0131. Kitabenin asl\u0131, bundan sonra Vartapet Andreas Ahmaranyan\u2019da kalm\u0131\u015f, I. D\u00fcnya Harbi\u2019nde kaybolmu\u015ftur. Vartapet Hus\u0131z G\u00fclyan ise kitabeyi \u00e7e\u015fitli dillere terc\u00fcme ettirip, bunlar\u0131 Mardin metropolitli\u011finin salonuna ast\u0131rm\u0131\u015ft\u0131:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu yaz\u0131t 420\u2019den evvel Mardin&#8217;de bir Ermeni cemaatinin varl\u0131\u011f\u0131na i\u015faret etmektedir. Nitekim kitabede 351\u2019de Nusaybin \u0130mambut kumandas\u0131ndaki Pers ordusunun i\u015fgaline u\u011fray\u0131p da y\u0131k\u0131l\u0131nca, burada ya\u015fayan Ermenilerin Mardin\u2019e s\u0131\u011f\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 da yaz\u0131l\u0131d\u0131r. Hatt\u00e2 \u201cmardi\/sava\u015f\u00e7\u0131\u201d kelimesinden dolay\u0131 \u015fehrin bu s\u0131rada bu ad\u0131 ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 da rivayet edilir, ,379\u2019da \u0130mambut\u2019un Mardin\u2019i de istila edip \u015fehre kendi ad\u0131n\u0131 verdi\u011fi, Ermeni patrikhanesi bundan dolay\u0131 bu \u015fehri \u201cMambut\u201d ad\u0131yla anmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n Ailesi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tazbazyan s\u00fclalesi, Safavi saray\u0131n\u0131n en g\u00f6zde soylular\u0131ndan, Ermeni as\u0131ll\u0131 Melkon Han\u2019a dayanmaktad\u0131r. Han unvan\u0131 sadece y\u00fcksek mertebedeki devlet adamlar\u0131na verilirdi. Melkon Han, \u015eah I. Tahmasp\u2019\u0131n saray\u0131nda zek\u00e2s\u0131, sadakati ve g\u00f6revine d\u00fc\u015fk\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc dolay\u0131s\u0131yla pek sevilirdi. Ayr\u0131ca hem bir e\u011flence, hem de bir spor olarak avc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 pek seven \u015fah, ava \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131nda onu yan\u0131ndan eksik etmezdi. Zira Melkon Han\u2019\u0131n gayet iyi yeti\u015ftirdi\u011fi bir taz\u0131s\u0131yla, bir \u015fahini vard\u0131. Melkon Han av s\u0131ras\u0131nda bu iki \u00f6zel hayvan\u0131 \u015fah\u0131n emrine verirdi. Bu durumdan gayet ho\u015fnut olan \u015fah, Melkon Han\u2019a avc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n simgesi olan bu iki hayvan\u0131n ad\u0131n\u0131n bile\u015fimi olan Tazbazyan soyad\u0131n\u0131 bah\u015fetmi\u015fti. \u0130sim \u201ctaz(\u0131)\u201d ve Fars\u00e7a \u015fahin anlam\u0131ndaki \u2018baz\u2019tn bile\u015fiminden olu\u015fmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Melkon Han\u2019\u0131n \u00fc\u00e7 o\u011flu vard\u0131: Hovannes, Antreas ve Bo\u011fos. Hovannes saray mimar\u0131, Antreas t\u00fcccar, Bo\u011fos ise sarraf idi. \u015eah I. Tahmasp\u2019\u0131n 1576\u2019daki \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden sonra ba\u015fa ge\u00e7en o\u011flu \u015eah II. \u0130smail\u2019in h\u00fck\u00fcmdarl\u0131\u011f\u0131 boyunca Tazbazyan ailesi saraydaki mevkiini muhafaza etmi\u015fti. Ancak \u015eah II. \u0130smail bir y\u0131ldan k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede \u00f6l\u00fcp, yerine karde\u015fi \u015eah Muhammed H\u00fcdabende ge\u00e7ince her \u015fey de\u011fi\u015fti. \u015eah Muhammed H\u00fcdabende, seleflerinin aksine H\u0131ristiyanlara kar\u015f\u0131 bir siyaset g\u00fctmeye ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131. \u015eah\u0131n uygulad\u0131\u011f\u0131 zul\u00fcm ve s\u00fcrg\u00fcn siyasetinden Tazbazyanlar da nasiplerini ald\u0131lar ve gizlice \u0130ran\u2019dan, Osmanl\u0131 Devleti\u2019ne ka\u00e7arak Ba\u011fdat\u2019a yerle\u015ftiler.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zaman\u0131n padi\u015fah\u0131 Kanuni\u2019nin torunu olan III. Murat idi. Tazbazyanlar gibi \u0130ran\u2019dan ka\u00e7an pek \u00e7ok aile de Osmanl\u0131 topraklar\u0131na, \u00f6zellikle Mardin\u2019e gelmi\u015flerdi. Tarihler Mardin\u2019e 1579 y\u0131l\u0131 civar\u0131nda pek \u00e7ok muhacirin gelerek \u015fehri canland\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan bahseder. Bu muhacirlerin \u015eah Muhammed H\u00fcdabende zaman\u0131nda, t\u0131pk\u0131 Tazbazyanlar gibi \u0130ran\u2019dan g\u00f6\u00e7 ettikleri tahmin edilebilir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ba\u011fdat\u2019ta kald\u0131klar\u0131 s\u00fcrede Tazbazyan ailesi ticaret sayesinde k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede toparland\u0131. Osmanl\u0131 \u00fclkesinde H\u0131ristiyanlara g\u00f6sterilen iyi niyetten de ho\u015fnut kald\u0131lar. Bir s\u00fcre sonra Antreas Ba\u011fdat\u2019ta daimi olarak yerle\u015fmeye karar verirken, Hovannes Musul\u2019da \u015fans\u0131n\u0131 denemek i\u00e7in oraya g\u00f6\u00e7 etti, Bo\u011fos ise Mardin\u2019e yerle\u015fti. Tazbazyanlar dinlerine ba\u011fl\u0131lard\u0131 ve ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131 i\u00e7in hep Tanr\u0131\u2019ya \u015f\u00fckrederlerdi. Ancak ne Ba\u011fdat\u2019ta ne de Musul\u2019da Ermeni kilisesi olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in Antreas ve Ohannes Yakubi S\u00fcryanilerin kilisesine gider olmu\u015flard\u0131. Ayr\u0131 milletten olmamalar\u0131na ra\u011fmen, onlarla ayn\u0131 inanc\u0131 payla\u015f\u0131p, onlar gibi ibadet ettiler. Ba\u011fdat\u2019ta bir Ermeni cemaati bulunmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in Antreas\u2019\u0131n \u00e7ocuklar\u0131 ve torunlar\u0131 S\u00fcryanile\u015ferek Tazbazyan soyad\u0131n\u0131 b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015flard\u0131. Dedeleri Antreas\u2019m ad\u0131n\u0131 soyad\u0131 olarak kullanan ailenin bu kolu, sonralar\u0131 Yakubi S\u00fcryani kilisesinden ayr\u0131l\u0131p Katolik S\u00fcryani kilisesine ge\u00e7mi\u015ftir. Ermenilikle olan ba\u011flar\u0131n\u0131 tamamen unutan ailenin kay\u0131tlar\u0131 halen S\u00fcryani Katolik kilisesinde bulunmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ohannes de, Antreas\u2019la ayn\u0131 sebepten, \u00f6nce Yakubi S\u00fcryani kilisesine gider olmu\u015f, ard\u0131ndan da Katolik S\u00fcryani kilisesine ge\u00e7mi\u015fti. O da karde\u015fi gibi Tazbazyan ad\u0131n\u0131 b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015f, Arap\u00e7a \u2018mimar\u2019 anlam\u0131na gelen \u2018Binn\u00e2\u2019 soyad\u0131n\u0131 alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Zira mimarl\u0131\u011f\u0131yla Musul\u2019da k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede me\u015fhur olmu\u015ftu. 1895\u2019te vefat eden ve Mardin\u2019e defnedilen S\u00fcryani Katolik katolikosu B\u0131hnan, Antreas Binn\u00e2\u2019n\u0131n soyundan geliyordu. B\u0131hnan Mardin\u2019e yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir ziyaretinde Ermeni oldu\u011funu s\u00f6ylerdi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu \u00fc\u00e7 karde\u015fin en k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fc\u011f\u00fc olan Bo\u011fos Tazbazyan ise Ba\u011fdat\u2019tan ayr\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda Diyarbak\u0131r\u2019a gitmeyi kafas\u0131na koymu\u015ftu. Ancak sadece bir s\u00fcre kalmak \u00fczere geldi\u011fi Mardin\u2019de, Ermeni cemaatinin, kilisesinin ve rahiplerinin ona g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi ilgiden dolay\u0131 yerle\u015fti. Mardin\u2019e geldi\u011finde iki o\u011fluyla bir k\u0131z\u0131 olan Bo\u011fos Tazbazyan\u2019m burada, 1619 y\u0131l\u0131nda Murad ad\u0131nda bir o\u011flu daha oldu. Ro\u011fos\u2019un \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden sonra da Tazbazyan ad\u0131n\u0131 koruyan o\u011fullar\u0131ndan b\u00fcy\u00fck olanlar\u0131 gen\u00e7 ya\u015fta \u00e7ocuksuz olarak \u00f6l\u00fcnce, ailenin b\u00fct\u00fcn varl\u0131\u011f\u0131 Murad\u2019a kald\u0131. Yine gen\u00e7 ya\u015flar\u0131nda kutsal Kud\u00fcs\u2019\u00fc ziyaret etti\u011fi i\u00e7in, Kud\u00fcs\u2019\u00fc ziyaret ederek hac\u0131 olanlara verilen \u2018Malidesi\u2019 \u00fcnvan\u0131n\u0131 alarak Mahdesi Murad Tazbazyan olarak an\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mardin\u2019deki Katolik Misyonerleri ve Melkon Tazbazyan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1630\u2019da, IV. Murad\u2019\u0131n h\u00fck\u00fcmdarl\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda Garme\u011fyan rahiplerinden Peder Marko ve Pat\u0131lus, t\u0131bb\u0131 misyon kisvesi alt\u0131nda Mardin\u2019e gelmi\u015flerdi. Zira Osmanl\u0131 topraklar\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a misyoner faaliyeti yap\u0131lmas\u0131na izin verilmiyordu. Misyonerler de hastalar\u0131 tedavi etmek gibi kabul edilebilir bir istekle bu engeli a\u015fmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yorlard\u0131. B\u00f6ylece halk\u0131n aras\u0131na kar\u0131\u015farak inan\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 yaymaya ba\u015flam\u0131\u015flard\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1654 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n Mart ay\u0131nda Mahdesi Murad Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n Melkon ad\u0131nda bir o\u011flu oldu. Mardin\u2019de bir Ermeni okulu bulunmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in Melkon\u2019un e\u011fitimini babas\u0131 \u00fcstlenmi\u015fti. Bug\u00fcn\u00fcn deyimiyle \u201cmilliyet\u00e7i\u201d bir ruha sahip olan baba Tazbazyan o\u011fluna Ermeni dilini ve tarihini \u00f6\u011fretti. O\u011flunun \u00f6\u011frenmeye olan hevesini g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde de, yabanc\u0131 dil \u00f6\u011frenebilmesi i\u00e7in onu Garme\u011fyan (Karmel) Cemiyeti\u2019ne kay\u0131t ettirdi. Melkon burada \u0130talyanca ve ilahiyat e\u011fitimi al\u0131yordu. Garme\u011fyan rahipleri Melkon\u2019un \u00f6\u011frenmeye olan iste\u011finden ve \u00f6\u011frenme h\u0131z\u0131ndan memnun kalm\u0131\u015flard\u0131. Bundan dolay\u0131 onu Roma\u2019ya g\u00f6ndererek tam bir Katolik e\u011fitimi almas\u0131n\u0131 tasarlad\u0131lar. Bu e\u011fitimin ard\u0131ndan Melkon\u2019un bir Katolik rahibi olarak \u00fclkesine d\u00f6nerek inanc\u0131n\u0131 yaymak i\u00e7in \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131na da inan\u00e7lar\u0131 tamd\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Roma&#8217;ya g\u00f6nderme teklifini ilettiklerinde, Melkon bunu sevin\u00e7le kar\u015f\u0131lad\u0131. Ama ne Melkon ne de rahipler bu teklifi bir t\u00fcrl\u00fc Mahdesi Murad Tazbazyan\u2019a g\u00f6t\u00fcrmeye cesaret edemiyordu. Zira bunun babas\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan \u015fiddetle reddedilece\u011fi a\u015fik\u00e2rd\u0131. Melkon sab\u0131rla susup, m\u00fcsait bir f\u0131rsat\u0131n do\u011fmas\u0131n\u0131 bekledi. Babas\u0131n\u0131n onun ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131ndan memnuniyetle bahsetti\u011fi bir g\u00fcn, Roma\u2019ya giderek oradaki ruhban okuluna girmeyi istedi\u011fini ona s\u00f6yledi. Ancak babas\u0131 beklenen tepkiyi vererek k\u0131zd\u0131 ve onu kovdu. \u201c\u015eimdi bu ars\u0131z Frenklerin neler \u00e7evirdiklerini, \u015fehirlerde yapt\u0131klar\u0131 propaganda faaliyetlerini ve bu y\u00fczden aileler aras\u0131nda yol a\u00e7t\u0131klar\u0131 karga\u015fay\u0131 gidip anlataca\u011f\u0131m. Onlardan \u015fik\u00e2yet\u00e7i olup, Mardin\u2019den kovulmalar\u0131 ve b\u00f6ylece de bizim rahat ya\u015fayabilmemiz i\u00e7in ne gerekiyorsa yapaca\u011f\u0131m\u201d dedi ve ger\u00e7ekten de o g\u00fcnden sonra bu iki rahibin Mardin\u2019den uzakla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in epey gayret sarf etti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Melkon, hem iste\u011finin reddedildi\u011fi, hem de \u00e7ok sevdi\u011fi iki rahip ciddi s\u0131k\u0131nt\u0131lar \u00e7eker hale geldi\u011fi i\u00e7in \u00e7ok \u00fcz\u00fcl\u00fcyordu. Bu y\u00fczden g\u00fcnden g\u00fcne zay\u0131flay\u0131p, nihayetinde de yata\u011fa d\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. Gen\u00e7 Melkon\u2019un hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fcnden g\u00fcne ilerlerken, annesine bu iki rahibi g\u00f6rmek istedi\u011fini s\u00f6yleyip, bu ricas\u0131n\u0131 yerine getirmesini istiyordu. Ancak annesi, babas\u0131n\u0131n emrine kar\u015f\u0131 gelemeyece\u011fini, zira babas\u0131n\u0131n onlar\u0131n adlar\u0131n\u0131n bile an\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 ya-saklad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylemekten ba\u015fka bir \u015fey yapam\u0131yordu. Babas\u0131 Melkon\u2019un iyile\u015fmesi i\u00e7in servetini g\u00f6zden \u00e7\u0131kartarak bir\u00e7ok doktor getirttiyse de, bunlar\u0131n hi\u00e7biri gen\u00e7 Melkon\u2019u iyile\u015ftiremedi. Zira hasta yata\u011f\u0131nda bile d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc tek \u015fey Roma\u2019ya gidip, bir rahip olarak geri d\u00f6nmekti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Annesi Mardi\u015fia her ne kadar o\u011fluna, ricas\u0131n\u0131 babas\u0131na iletmesinin s\u00f6z konusu olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yl\u00fcyorduysa da, bir yandan da kocas\u0131na Garmo\u011fyan rahiplerini getirtmesi i\u00e7in yalvarmaktan geri durmuyordu. \u00c7ocu\u011funun \u00f6l\u00fcmc\u00fcl halini g\u00f6ren baba da, sonunda rahipleri \u00e7a\u011f\u0131rmaya mecbur kald\u0131. Rahipler can u g\u00f6n\u00fclden Melkon\u2019un yard\u0131m\u0131na ko\u015ftular, durumunun a\u011f\u0131r halini g\u00f6rd\u00fcklerinde \u00e7ok \u00fcz\u00fcld\u00fcler. Melkon ise onlar\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcnce g\u00f6zlerini a\u00e7\u0131p derin bir nefes alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Babas\u0131na, Melkon\u2019u Tanr\u0131\u2019n\u0131n ellerine teslim etmenin yap\u0131lacak en uygun i\u015f oldu\u011funu, kendilerinin de ellerinden gelen ne varsa yapacaklar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6ylediler. Sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kazan\u0131rsa onu Tanr\u0131 hizmetine adak edip, bunun i\u00e7in Roma\u2019ya yollamas\u0131n\u0131 istediler. Garme\u011fyan rahipleri Melkon\u2019un tedavisi i\u00e7in gereken ila\u00e7lar\u0131 bulup, tedavisiyle \u015fahsen ilgilendiler. Mahdesi Murad Tazbazyan rahiplerin g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi bu ihtimamdan \u00e7ok etkilendi. \u00d6nce kendisi Katolikli\u011fi kabul etti, sonra da akraba ve dostlar\u0131ndan pek \u00e7ok ki\u015finin bu inanca ge\u00e7mesini sa\u011flad\u0131. B\u00f6ylece ada\u011f\u0131na fazlas\u0131yla sad\u0131k kalm\u0131\u015f oluyordu. Melkon bir ayda s\u0131hhatine yeniden kavu\u015ftu ve Roma\u2019ya gitmek i\u00e7in babas\u0131n\u0131n iznini ald\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yolculuk g\u00fcn\u00fc geldi\u011finde, babas\u0131n\u0131n \u015fu s\u00f6zleriyle gen\u00e7 Melkon daha bir cesaret kazanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131: \u201cSevgili \u00e7ocu\u011fum, Tanr\u0131\u2019ya hamd ve \u015f\u00fckrediyorum ki beni bu imanla ayd\u0131nlatt\u0131, ona yalvarmalar\u0131mla seni ba\u011f\u0131\u015flad\u0131. Melkon\u2019un \u015fevkini ve ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6ren rahipler ondan hi\u00e7bir yard\u0131m\u0131 esirgemediler. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ile di\u011fer arkada\u015flar\u0131ndan \u00f6nde olan Melkon hep okul birincisi oldu. Latince, \u0130talyanca, felsefe, ilahiyat derslerini ba\u015far\u0131yla tamamlayarak \u201cVartapet\u201d unvan\u0131n\u0131 kazand\u0131. Melkon Roma\u2019daki ilk y\u0131llar\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda Papa G\u0131\u011femes (Clement) IX\u2019un unvan\u0131n\u0131 kazand\u0131. Melkon Roma\u2019daki ilk y\u0131llar\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda Papa G\u0131\u011femes (Clement) IX\u2019un takdirine mazhar oldu\u011fu gibi, onun \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden sonra yerini alan Papa Innogendiyus (Innocent) XI&#8217;in de takdirini ve sevgisini kazanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bu arada Garme\u011fyan rahipleri arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla mektupla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 ailesiyle de ili\u015fkisi kesilmemi\u015fti. 1680\u2019de rahip olarak takdis edildi\u011finde b\u00fcy\u00fck babas\u0131n\u0131n ad\u0131 olan&#8217;Melkon\u2019u ve Tazbazyan soyad\u0131n\u0131 muhafaza etmi\u015fti. Ancak onu yeti\u015ftiren rahip bu takdis t\u00f6renini g\u00f6remeden vefat etmi\u015fti. Ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131 i\u00e7in onu \u00f6d\u00fcllendiren Papa, Melkon\u2019un inanc\u0131n\u0131 yaln\u0131z memleketi olan Mardin\u2019e de\u011fil b\u00fct\u00fcn Mezopotamya\u2019ya yaymas\u0131na dair iste\u011fini ona iletti ve bunun i\u00e7in Tanr\u0131\u2019n\u0131n ona yard\u0131m etmesini temenni etti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Vartapet Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n Mardin\u2019e D\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fc ve Sonras\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vartaped Der Melkon Tazbazyan 8 A\u011fustos 1680\u2019de, ayr\u0131ld\u0131ktan tam on y\u0131l sonra, Mardin\u2019e d\u00f6nm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Babas\u0131 Mahdesi Murad Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n itibar\u0131 ve n\u00fcfuzu sayesinde, M\u00fcsl\u00fcman\u0131-H\u0131ristiyan\u0131 b\u00fct\u00fcn \u015fehir halk\u0131 onu kar\u015f\u0131lam\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Evlerini ziyaret edenlerden Erivanl\u0131 Der Sarkis \u00c7arhalasyan ile Der Garabet ve Der Sarkis adl\u0131 iki rahip onu Surp Kevork Kilisesi\u2019ne davet eder. Bu daveti kabul eden Tazbazyan Gregoryen inanc\u0131na ait b\u00fct\u00fcn ikonalar\u0131 kiliseden \u00e7\u0131kartt\u0131rd\u0131ktan sonra kiliseye gider. Bunun \u00fczerine Ermeni cemaati ikiye b\u00f6l\u00fcn\u00fcr, hatt\u00e2 S\u00fcryani Yakubilerin de i\u015fe kar\u0131\u015fmas\u0131yla olay\u0131n boyutlar\u0131 iyice b\u00fcy\u00fcr. Bunun \u00fczerine Der Melkon Tazbazyan Surp Kevork kilisesini terk ederek, Mardin\u2019in bat\u0131s\u0131nda, yar\u0131m saatlik mesafedeki Ayn Since p\u0131nar\u0131 civar\u0131ndaki metruk bir Ermeni manast\u0131r\u0131na, \u015eehide S\u0131rpuhi Varvara manast\u0131r\u0131na gider ve oraya s\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu manast\u0131r\u0131 k\u0131sa zamanda temizletip d\u00fczenletir ve burada Katolikli\u011fi kabul eden Ermeniler i\u00e7in ayinler d\u00fczenleyip vaazlar vermeye ba\u015flar. Gregoryen Ermenilerin bu manast\u0131r\u0131 bo\u015faltt\u0131rmak i\u00e7in yapt\u0131klar\u0131 giri\u015fimlerse sonu\u00e7suz kal\u0131r. Vaazlar\u0131nda halka Roma\u2019y\u0131, Roma\u2019n\u0131n g\u00fczelliklerini ve kiliselerinin muhte\u015femli\u011fini anlat\u0131r. Aziz Petrus ve Pavlus kilisesinin ihti\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n \u00fczerinde bilhassa durur. Olaylar durulduktan sonra di\u011fer kiliselerle iyi ili\u015fkiler kurmaktan da geri kalmaz; Ermeni ve S\u00fcryani kiliselerine Roma\u2019dan getirdi\u011fi hediyeleri sunar. \u0130lk pazar g\u00fcn\u00fc \u00e7ok sesli k\u0131ddas\u2019 (budarak da denen bir g\u00fcnd\u00fcz ayini) d\u00fczenledikten sonra halka vaaz verir. Ard\u0131ndan da t\u00f6renle kiliseden ayr\u0131larak m\u00fctevelli heyeti ve \u015fehrin ileri gelenleri ile oturup sohbet eder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tazbazyan\u2019m bu gayretleri sayesinde Ermeni Katolik cemaati k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede b\u00fcy\u00fcr. S\u00fcryaniler taraf\u0131ndan Ermeni k\u00f6ylerine de sokulmak istenen Evtikes \u015eehitleri denen ve Nasturi inanc\u0131na ait bir t\u00f6re\u2019nin de \u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fc alm\u0131\u015f ve bunu yasaklam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yabanc\u0131 inan\u00e7lar\u0131n kendi k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerine kar\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 engellemek i\u00e7in harcad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00e7abalar daha da \u00e7ok Ermeni\u2019yi Katolikli\u011fe \u00e7ekmi\u015ftir. Bu faaliyetlerinin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra, bir yandan ya\u015fl\u0131 babas\u0131 ile birlikte hasta, dul ve yetimleri ziyaret ederek onlara yard\u0131mc\u0131 oluyor; bir yandan da yoksullara destek oluyordu. Sonraki y\u0131llarda \u00e7\u0131kan pek \u00e7ok kar\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011fa ve engellemelere ra\u011fmen neredeyse b\u00fct\u00fcn Mardin Ermenilerini, 200 aile hari\u00e7 Katolikli\u011fe d\u00f6nd\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. 1685\u2019te, Mardin\u2019deki i\u015flerini sa\u011flama ba\u011fla-d\u0131ktan sonra, Roma\u2019dan gelen emirlere uyarak yerine Der Sarkis \u00c7arhalasyan\u2019\u0131 b\u0131rakarak Ermeni k\u00f6ylerini gezmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. Bu gezileri esnas\u0131nda hi\u00e7bir din adam\u0131n\u0131n evinde kalmay\u0131p, hanlarda konaklad\u0131 ve ziyaret\u00e7ilerini de oralarda kabul etti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0130lk olarak Diyarbak\u0131r\u2019a ge\u00e7ti. E\u00e7miyazdin\u2019in icazetiyle Diyarbak\u0131r piskoposu olan Mardiros Tohmanyan, Der Melkon Tazbazyan ile tan\u0131\u015ft\u0131ktan k\u0131sa bir s\u00fcre sonra onun en yak\u0131n takip\u00e7ilerinden olup Mardin\u2019e yerle\u015fti. Tazbazyan Diyarbak\u0131r\u2019dan sonra Bitlis\u2019e ge\u00e7ti. Ama burada, g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fc bir rahip onu Frank vaizi oldu\u011fu gerek\u00e7esiyle h\u00fck\u00fcmet yetkililerine ihbar etti. Bunun \u00fczerine \u00fc\u00e7 g\u00fcn hapis yatan Tazbazyan\u2019dan hemen \u015fehri terk etmesi istendi. Buradan Van\u2019a ge\u00e7ti. Gdus Adas\u0131\u2019nda onu \u00f6ld\u00fcrmek istedilerse de, sad\u0131k kat\u0131rc\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n sayesinde \u00f6l\u00fcmden kurtularak bir gece yar\u0131s\u0131 buray\u0131 terk etti. Mu\u015f\u2019ta \u00e7ok sevildi. Burada bir papaz ve ailesi onun takip\u00e7isi oldu. Buradaki rahipler onu sayg\u0131yla kar\u015f\u0131lad\u0131lar. Ancak Mardin\u2019den gelen \u015fik\u00e2yet mektuplar\u0131yla ona kar\u015f\u0131 zaten \u00e7ok k\u0131zg\u0131n olan Katolikos, Antepli Yerya\u011f ona bir an \u00f6nce Mardin\u2019e geri d\u00f6nerek, sebep oldu\u011fu kar\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131klar\u0131 d\u00fczeltmesini ve asla insanlar\u0131n inan\u00e7lar\u0131 ile oynamamas\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. Bunu yapmazsa da onu hapsettirece\u011fini ekledi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Melkon Tazbazyan, E\u00e7miyadzin\u2019den sonra Trabzon\u2019a gitti, oradan da Sivas\u2019a u\u011frad\u0131. Burada P\u0131rknik (Perkenek) k\u00f6y\u00fcnde kalarak oran\u0131n ahalisini Katolikli\u011fe \u00e7evirdi. Bura dan Ankara\u2019ya ge\u00e7erek oradaki pek \u00e7ok rahibi, piskoposu ve \u00f6nde gelen aileleri Katolikli\u011fe \u00e7evirdi. Ancak bu kez ihtiyatl\u0131 davran\u0131p fazla uzun kalmadan oradan ayr\u0131ld\u0131. Mardin\u2019e d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f yolunda u\u011frad\u0131\u011f\u0131 Harput\u2019tan da gece yar\u0131s\u0131 ka\u00e7mak zorunda kald\u0131ysa da, bir sonraki dura\u011f\u0131 olan Kayseri\u2019de bir rahiple dostluk kurdu\u011fu gibi, baz\u0131 aileleri de Katolikli\u011fe iste\u011fiyle \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bu geziyi bitirerek, 1685\u2019in Aral\u0131k ay\u0131nda Mardin\u2019e d\u00f6nd\u00fckten sonra Vatikan\u2019a bir rapor yaz\u0131p yollad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n Mardin\u2019deki S\u0131k\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tazbazyan Mardin\u2019e d\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde her \u015feyi b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi bulduysa da, bu durum fazla uzun s\u00fcrmedi. Mar-din\u2019den hem ruhani merkez olan E\u00e7miyadzin\u2019e, hem de Sis Katolikoslu\u011fu\u2019na ve \u0130stanbul\u2019a, Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n Mardin\u2019den s\u00fcr\u00fclerek yerine yeni bir din adam\u0131n\u0131n yollanmas\u0131 i\u00e7in pek \u00e7ok \u015fik\u00e2yet gitmekteydi. Geli\u015finden k\u0131sa bir s\u00fcre sonra, 1686 y\u0131l\u0131 ba\u015flar\u0131ndan itibaren ona kar\u015f\u0131 g\u00f6steriler yap\u0131ld\u0131ysa da, bunlar \u00e7ok etkili olmad\u0131. Zira Mardin halk\u0131n\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fck bir k\u0131sm\u0131 ona sadakatle ba\u011flanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Ona kar\u015f\u0131 olanlar, bu g\u00f6steriler i\u015fe yara-may\u0131nca Deyr-\u00fcz-Zafaran\u2019daki S\u00fcryani Yakubi patrikli\u011fine ba\u015fvurdular. Bug\u00fcn Ermenilerin Katolikli\u011fe \u00e7evrildi\u011fini, bunun yar\u0131n S\u00fcryanilerin de ba\u015f\u0131na gelebilece\u011fini s\u00f6ylediler.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu arada E\u00e7miyadzin de bo\u015f durmayarak Nerses Episkopos Diranyan\u2019\u0131 Mardin\u2019e yollam\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Her ne kadar Diranyan co\u015fkuyla kar\u015f\u0131land\u0131ysa da, kilisede yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 konu\u015fmada Tazbazyan\u2019m kiliseden at\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 istedi\u011finde halk\u0131n tepkisiyle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131. E\u00e7miyadzin\u2019den gelen bu piskoposu tan\u0131mad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yleyen ahalinin hiddetinden ka\u00e7an Diranyan Yakubi S\u00fcryanilere s\u0131\u011f\u0131narak bir y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131 K\u0131rklar Kilisesi\u2019nde ge\u00e7irmek zorunda kald\u0131. S\u00fcryaniler ondan hi\u00e7bir yard\u0131m esirgemedi. Bu arada Tazbazyan halk\u0131 Frankla\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u015fik\u00e2yetiyle hapse at\u0131ld\u0131ysa da, cemaat r\u00fc\u015fvet ve kefalet vererek onu hapisten kurtard\u0131. Tazbazyan\u2019a kar\u015f\u0131 olanlar bunun \u00fczerine onu ortadan kald\u0131rmak i\u00e7in yeni yollar aramaya ba\u015flay\u0131p, \u00d6merli a\u015firetinin K\u00fcrtlerini tutarak onu pusuya d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrme planlan yapt\u0131lar. Ancak bunun haberi k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede duyuldu ve Tazbazyan\u2019m babas\u0131 kendi adamlar\u0131yla onun g\u00fcvenli\u011fini sa\u011flad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tazbazyan bu sald\u0131r\u0131lar kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda sessiz kalarak ve ibadet ederek g\u00fcnlerini ge\u00e7iriyordu. Ona kar\u015f\u0131 olan Ermeniler ise, E\u00e7miyadzin\u2019den gelen piskoposun kald\u0131\u011f\u0131 S\u00fcryaniler\u2019in K\u0131rklar Kilisesi\u2019ne devam etmeye ba\u015flam\u0131\u015flard\u0131. Bir s\u00fcre sonra bunun bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlayan piskopos daha fazla yanl\u0131\u015f ad\u0131m atmamak i\u00e7in umutsuzluk i\u00e7inde Mardin\u2019den ayr\u0131ld\u0131. Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019dan sonraki d\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc ba\u015fpiskopos olan ve bu olaylar\u0131 kayda ge\u00e7iren Ohannes Tazbazyan\u2019a g\u00f6re bu ailelerin say\u0131s\u0131 200 il\u00e2 250 aras\u0131ndad\u0131r<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n Kilikya Yolculu\u011fu ve Talebeleri<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Melkon Tazbazyan Mardin\u2019e d\u00f6nd\u00fckten sonra, ziyaret etti\u011fi \u015fehirlerdeki talebeleriyle irtibat\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc. Onlardan gelen haberleri ald\u0131 ve onlara talimatlar yollad\u0131. Bu sakin d\u00f6nemde \u00e7ok sevdi\u011fi Erivanl\u0131 Der Sarkis \u00c7arhalasyan\u2019\u0131 kaybetti. Bu kayb\u0131n \u00fczerine de, yeni din adamlar\u0131 yeti\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in harekete ge\u00e7meye karar verdi. Ruhban yeti\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in kurulacak okulda Ermenice, \u0130talyanca ve Latince dilleri ile felsefe ve ilahiyat dersleri verilecekti. 1687 y\u0131l\u0131nda ikisi Mardin\u2019den, kalanlar\u0131 ise Diyarbak\u0131r, Mu\u015f, Erzurum, Ankara, Sivas ve Kayseri\u2019den olmak \u00fczere sekiz gen\u00e7 aday se\u00e7ilerek okulun temeli at\u0131lm\u0131\u015f oldu. Okul binas\u0131 olarak da, ilk ayinlerini yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 S\u0131rpuhi Varvara manast\u0131r\u0131n\u0131 se\u00e7mi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Roma\u2019dan gelen bir emirle, manast\u0131r\u0131 cemaatine teslim ederek 1687\u2019de Kilikya\u2019da bir seyahate \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu seyahatinin ilk dura\u011f\u0131 Kilis idi. Kilis\u2019ten Antep\u2019e ge\u00e7ti. Burada \u015fehrin \u00f6nde gelen s\u00fcl\u00e2lelerinden Arzivyanlar\u2019la g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. Aileden Apraham onun takip\u00e7isi oldu. Apraham Arzivyan daha sonra Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n kurdu\u011fu ruhban okulundan mezun olup Sis Gato\u011fikolu\u011fu\u2019na kadar y\u00fckselecekti. Antep\u2019ten Sis\u2019e ge\u00e7ti, burada Sis katolikosu Bizakyan taraf\u0131ndan takdis edildi. Bizakyan y\u0131llar sonra Hindistan\u2019da s\u00fcrg\u00fcnde \u00f6lm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Bu arada Adana Ermenilerinden ona kar\u015f\u0131 olan bir grup Der Melkon\u2019u Sis\u2019te yakalat\u0131p hapsettirmek istedilerse de, bunun haberini al\u0131p bir gece yar\u0131s\u0131 oradan ka\u00e7arak bu tertipten kurtuldu. Buradan Halep\u2019e (Periya) ge\u00e7ti. Mardin yolunda Urfa\u2019ya da u\u011frad\u0131ysa da, burada sancak beyine yap\u0131lan ihbar dolay\u0131s\u0131yla tutuklanarak on g\u00fcn hapis yatt\u0131. Hapisten \u00e7\u0131kar \u00e7\u0131kmaz da \u015fehri terk ederek 1688 y\u0131l\u0131n\u0131n Mart ay\u0131nda Mardin\u2019e geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc. Buradaki d\u00fczeni b\u0131rakt\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi buldu ve bundan teselli buldu. Seyahatini anlatan bir raporu da Vatikan\u2019a yollad\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sirpuhi Varvara manast\u0131r\u0131nda a\u00e7\u0131lan ruhban okulu, faaliyetlerini yaz\u0131n burada s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcyorduysa da, s\u0131hhi sebeplerden dolay\u0131 k\u0131\u015f\u0131n \u015fehre, Surp Kevork kilisesine ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131yordu. D\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc y\u0131l\u0131n sonunda, 1691 \u2019de, okulun ilk talebeleri mezun olunca, Der Melkon Tazbazyan bunlar\u0131 halihaz\u0131rdaki Katolik rahiplerinin \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcyle bo\u015falan yerlere yollayabilmek i\u00e7in takdis ettirdi. Kayseri, Kilis ve Sis\u2019te takdis edilen talebelerinden ikisi, memleketleri olan Mardin\u2019e, Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n yan\u0131na d\u00f6nd\u00fc. Antepli \u00f6\u011frenci Arzivyan ise Penya\u2019ya giderek Sis Gato\u011figosu Bedros Bizakyan taraf\u0131ndan takdis edilerek orada kald\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu s\u0131ralarda Deyr-uz-Zefaran\u2019daki S\u00fcryani patri\u011fi, bir tuzak kurarak Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131t makam\u0131na davet eder ve onu manast\u0131r\u0131n \u00fccra bir h\u00fccresine hapseder. O\u011flunun gece olmas\u0131na ra\u011fmen d\u00f6nmedi\u011fini g\u00f6ren ya\u015fl\u0131 babas\u0131 Murad Tazbazyan, daha \u00f6nce benzeri bir tertibi bizzat onu uygulayan patrikten \u015f\u00fcphelenir ve h\u00fck\u00fcmete ba\u015fvurarak yard\u0131m ister. Bu arada olay\u0131n talebeler ve cemaat aras\u0131nda duyulmas\u0131 infiale sebep olur, b\u00fcy\u00fck bir grup, onun u\u011fruna kanlar\u0131n\u0131 d\u00f6kmeyi bile g\u00f6ze alarak Deyr-uz-Zeferan\u2019a y\u00fcr\u00fcmeye ba\u015flar. H\u00fck\u00fcmet g\u00fc\u00e7lerinin de araya girmesiyle Der Melkon Tazbazyan zaman\u0131nda serbest b\u0131rak\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in, bu olay b\u00fcy\u00fcmeden kapanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu m\u00fccadeleler s\u0131ras\u0131nda, ona kar\u015f\u0131 olan ailelerden bir grup, onu k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrmek i\u00e7in bir fahi\u015feyi para vererek tutar. Fahi\u015fe de kiliseye giderek dua etmekte olan Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n c\u00fcbbesiyle ba\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 par\u00e7alar ve ona terbiyesizce iftiralarda bulunur, hakaret eder. O esnada orada bulunanlar kad\u0131n\u0131 yakalar, hatt\u00e2 lin\u00e7 etmeye kalkar. Ancak Tazbazyan araya girerek b\u00f6yle yaparlarsa Tanr\u0131\u2019n\u0131n evini ger\u00e7ekten kirleteceklerini s\u00f6yleyerek onlar\u0131 durdurur; zaten cezas\u0131n\u0131 bulmu\u015f oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi\u011fi kad\u0131n\u0131n da hayat\u0131n\u0131 kurtar\u0131r. Ayn\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcn ak\u015fam\u0131 Tazbazyan Mardin\u2019den ayr\u0131laca\u011f\u0131 s\u0131rada, kad\u0131n\u0131n akrabalar\u0131ndan bir grup onun kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131na \u00e7\u0131karak, kad\u0131n\u0131 affetmesi ve kad\u0131n\u0131n t\u00f6vbekar olmas\u0131 i\u00e7in dua etmesi i\u00e7in ona yalvar\u0131rlar. Kurtulu\u015funun \u00f6l\u00fcm-de oldu\u011funa inanmaktad\u0131rlar. Kad\u0131n ger\u00e7ekten de t\u00f6vbekar olmu\u015f ve bir s\u00fcre sonra da \u00f6lm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019m Piskoposlu\u011fu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0130lk grup talebelerden sonra ruhban okulu iki d\u00f6nem daha mezun vermi\u015ftir. 1707\u2019ye kadar s\u00fcren bu sakin devreyi, d\u00f6nemin papas\u0131 G\u0131\u011femes (Clemens) XI yak\u0131ndan takip etmi\u015fti. Bu sakin d\u00f6nemi bitiren olay, Sis Gato\u011figosu Matyos\u2019un vefat\u0131 olmu\u015ftur. Onun \u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden bo\u015falan yere ruhban okulunun mezunlar\u0131ndan Bedros Bizakyan ge\u00e7ince, Papa ona bir mektup yazarak Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019m piskopos olarak takdis edilmesini istemi\u015fti. Bizakyan\u2019m bunu kabul etmesi \u00fczerine Der Melkon Tazbazyan, sayg\u0131yla kar\u015f\u0131land\u0131\u011f\u0131 Penya\u2019dan ge\u00e7erek 1708\u2019de Sis\u2019e varm\u0131\u015f ve burada Mardin piskoposu olarak takdis edilmi\u015ftir. Bu durumda Bedros Bizakyan kocas\u0131n\u0131 kendi eliyle takdis etti\u011fi i\u00e7in; Der Melkon Tazbazyan ise, kendi okulunun meyvelerini toplamaya ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in gayet memnundu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Melkon Tazbazyan Mardin\u2019deki Arkepiskopos k\u00fcrs\u00fcs\u00fcne d\u00f6nerken Kilikya ve civar\u0131ndaki pek \u00e7ok \u015fehre u\u011frayarak hem yeni rahipleri takdis etmi\u015f, hem de vaazlar vermi\u015fti. B\u00f6ylece hem rahipleri Katoliklik yolunda cesaretlendirmi\u015f, hem de halk\u0131n dertlerini dinleyerek s\u0131cak ili\u015fkiler tesis etmi\u015fti. Mardin\u2019e d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnde, cemaatinin haz\u0131rlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 muhte\u015fem bir t\u00f6renle kar\u015f\u0131lanarak makam\u0131na ge\u00e7mi\u015fti. Bu gezisini anlatan bir raporu da Roma\u2019daki propaganda cemiyetine yollam\u0131\u015f, oradan da memnuniyet ifadeleriyle dolu bir cevap alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu \u00f6nemli yaz\u0131\u015fmalar halen Mardin Piskoposlu\u011fu\u2019nun ar\u015fivlerindedir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Der Melkon Tazbazyan, yedi y\u0131l s\u00fcren piskoposlu\u011fu s\u00fcresince \u00f6\u011frenci yeti\u015ftirmeye devam etmi\u015ftir. Bunlardan biri olan Diyarbak\u0131rl\u0131 Markar Tohmanyan hem onun halefi olmu\u015f, hem de yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 pek \u00e7ok eserle piskoposluk ar\u015fivini zenginle\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. Ancak Tohmanyan\u2019 \u0131n eserlerinin b\u00fcy\u00fck bir k\u0131sm\u0131 I. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda kaybolmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Gregoryen-Katolik M\u00fccadeleleri ve Der Melkon Tazbazyan\u2019\u0131n S\u00fcrg\u00fcn\u00fc<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1700\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n ba\u015flar\u0131nda, yani III. Ahmet\u2019in saltanat\u0131na ve de Lale Devri\u2019ne denk d\u00fc\u015fen d\u00f6nemde Katolik Ermeniler art\u0131k yeni piskoposluklar kurabilecek kadar g\u00fc\u00e7lenmi\u015flerdi. Ancak bu geli\u015fmenin \u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fc iki \u00f6nemli sebep kapat\u0131yordu: Bunlardan ilki, Osmanl\u0131 Devleti\u2019nin kendi tebaas\u0131 olan H\u0131ristiyan milletlerinkinin d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda yeni kiliseler kurulmas\u0131na izin vermemesiydi. \u0130kincisi ise Ermeni cemaatinin, Roma\u2019n\u0131n tahminleri ve isteklerinin aksine topyek\u00fbn Papal\u0131\u011fa t\u00e2bi olmay\u0131 kabul etmemesiydi. Bir ba\u015fka deyi\u015fle, Roma Ermeni Kilisesi\u2019ni t\u00fcm\u00fcyle kendine ba\u011flamak istiyordu. Bunun i\u00e7in Roma\u2019n\u0131n pek \u00e7ok giri\u015fimi olmu\u015f, her seferinde bu konudaki \u00fcmitler yeniden ye\u015fermi\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tam bu s\u0131rada Der Melkon Tazbazyan ise, Katolikli\u011fin yay\u0131lmas\u0131na y\u00f6nelik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak artan cemaat i\u00e7i s\u00fcrt\u00fc\u015fmeler dolay\u0131s\u0131yla kendi cemaatini ay\u0131rmay\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmeye ba\u015flam\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bundan bir s\u00fcre sonra kad\u0131n\u0131n hamile kalmas\u0131 \u00fczerine, Mehmet Ali onlara kar\u015f\u0131 olan borcunu, birinin ka\u00e7mas\u0131na yard\u0131m ederek \u00f6demek istedi\u011fini s\u00f6yler. \u0130ki din adam\u0131 bu kez hangisinin h\u00fcrriyeti se\u00e7ece\u011fi \u00fczerine tart\u0131\u015f\u0131rlar. Ancak Katolikli\u011fin Ermeniler aras\u0131nda yayg\u0131nla\u015fmas\u0131 i\u00e7in 17. y\u00fczy\u0131lda Ortado\u011fu misyonlar\u0131n\u0131n kurulmas\u0131n\u0131 beklemek gerekecekti: Dominikenler 1582\u2019de Kafkasya\u2019da; Cizvitler 1626\u2019da Halep&#8217;te, 1653\u2019te \u0130sfahan&#8217;da; Kapusenler 1627\u2019de Halep\u2019te, Karmeller 1705\u2019te \u0130ran&#8217;da misyon kurmu\u015flard\u0131. Sis\u2019teki Ermeni piskoposlu\u011funun 1740\u2019dan itibaren Katolik piskoposlar taraf\u0131ndan idare edilmesiyle ba\u015flayan sorunlar, 18. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ba\u015flar\u0131nda bu piskoposlu\u011fun Kilikya, Suriye, Mezopotamya ve M\u0131s\u0131r\u2019daki Katoliklere hizmet vermek amac\u0131yla L\u00fcbnan\u2019a ta\u015f\u0131nmas\u0131yla \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ancak bu kilise Osmanl\u0131 Devleti taraf\u0131ndan resmen tan\u0131nm\u0131yordu. Papal\u0131k 8 Mart 1828\u2019de Frans\u0131z b\u00fcy\u00fckel\u00e7isi arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla Sultan II. Mahmud&#8217;a Ermeni Katolik patrikhanesinin tesisi i\u00e7in ba\u015fvuruda bulundu. Ancak ne bu giri\u015fim, ne de ayn\u0131 s\u0131ralarda Paris\u2019teki Papal\u0131k el\u00e7isinin Osmanl\u0131 h\u00e2riciyesi \u00fczerinden yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 giri\u015fimler bir sonuca ula\u015fmad\u0131. 8 Temmuz 1828\u2019de ise Rus \u00c7ar\u0131 Papa\u2019ya Do\u011fu H\u0131ristiyanlar\u0131n\u0131n himayesi i\u00e7in i\u015fbirli\u011fi ve yard\u0131m teklifinde bulundu. \u00c7ar\u2019\u0131n bu \u00e7er\u00e7evede E\u00e7miyazdin&#8217;e yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 telkinler ve bask\u0131lar, Katolik Ermenilere E\u00e7miyazdin \u00fczerinden yap\u0131lan her t\u00fcr bask\u0131ya son verilmesini sa\u011flad\u0131. Hatt\u00e2 bunun aksine davrananlar\u0131n afaroz edilece\u011fi bile duyuruldu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ayn\u0131 s\u0131ralarda, bu yoldaki ilk giri\u015fimi sonu\u00e7suz kalan Papa Pius VIII, bu kez Habsburglar\u2019a ve Fransa\u2019ya yollad\u0131\u011f\u0131 resm\u00ee yaz\u0131larla, onlardan Osmanl\u0131 \u00fclkesinde ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z bir Katolik Ermeni ruhani reisli\u011fi kurulmas\u0131 i\u00e7in i\u015fbirli\u011fi talep etti. Ancak 1. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 ve sonras\u0131ndaki siyasi ve demografik de\u011fi\u015fiklikler de yeni d\u00fczenlemeler gerektirdi, \u0130stanbul\u2019daki Ermeni Katolik patrikli\u011fi 1928 y\u0131l\u0131nda ilk kurulu\u015f yeri olan L\u00fcbnan\u2019a nakledildi ve \u0130stanbul patrikli\u011fi bir ba\u015fpiskoposlu\u011fa d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fcld\u00fc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0130stanbul&#8217;daki cemaatin \u015fu anki ruhani reisi Ba\u015fpiskopos Zekiyan&#8217;d\u0131r ve cemaate ait 12 kilise, 4 okul ve bir hastahane bulunmaktad\u0131r.
